Just my thoughts and opinions on a few shows.
I'll try to keep it short:

SUPERNATURAL, season 5. )

The return of GLEE )

SONS OF ANARCHY, season 2 )

HOUSE M.D. - Lockdown )

WHITE COLLAR )

BEING HUMAN )

Think that's it for now, real life will hopefully be posted within the next few days... or hours. ;)

I honestly didn't think I'd care very much if Chuck was cancelled, but the season finale made me start hoping that they'd continue. And now it looks like they've been renewed.

UPDATE: NBC Renews 'Chuck', 'Medium', 'Law & Order'; Announcement On Monday

That's what sources are telling me. Expect a major renewals announcement from NBC on Monday.

  1. NBC Picks Up 'Southland' And 'Parks And Recreation' Despite Poor Ratings
  2. Best Bet That 'Chuck' Will Come Back...

Empty

roguem: (LOTR - Frodo Smile)

I've been watching a cute little TV show called 'Empty'.
It's not really very eventful, but it's funny, high spirited.
Billy Boyd has one of the lead roles, which is why I started watching, but I' really enjoying it.
If you get the chance, have a look.

Jacky (Gregor Fisher) and Tony (Billy Boyd) are two ordinary guys who work for a property maintenance company, clearing out empty or fire-damaged flats and making simple repairs. Despite being very different, these two have simply "hit it off".
For both men, work is an escape. When they are together in an empty flat, they can go into their own little world – a place of wild flights of fancy and comic imaginings sparked by items they find or problems they encounter in each new location.
Promising to be both poignant and funny, Empty sees Jacky and Tony explore comic possibilities in the most mundane situations before the real world intrudes with its uncanny knack of bringing them comically back down to Earth.

I got this e-mail yesterday, figured I should share it.
Don't know if anyone else has posted this.

The WGA strike has already proven destructive.  24 will not air until 2009 (how the hell did they bring Tony back?), Lost is scheduled to have an anti-climatic 8 episode run leaving fans to wait another 10 months,  Heroes has been scheduled to end early and it's spinoff series Heroes: Origins has been cancelled.  Can this be reversed?

The good news is, it can.  Not long ago, Jericho fans brought CBS to their knees with a campaign designed to impose their collective will on CBS.  Lost fans have been able to convince ABC to do away with reruns, and
Heroes creator Tim Kring recently apologized for what the fans have identified as short comings in the second
season.

See something in common with this issues?  When fans unite their voices, the studios and creators pay attention. For that reason, it is now time for TV fans to unite behind a single message and bring the strike to an end while there is still hope to salvage the TV season.

And learn about our fan protests aimed at forming a loud, powerful, and irrestible voice.

Sean Astin is on "Las Vegas". ^-^ Hee, made me happy. ♥
Hey! Nicki Aycox is in the same eppy! When fandoms collide!

Ok, so Sean's character isn't the most likable guy ever, but it's kind of fun to see him do a character like that.
Hey! No fair!

Spoiler free.
I went to the cinema on Monday with

[profile] isil80 to see this. Both of us had really wanted to see it, and we finally found a day that fit for the both of us, was it worth the wait? Yes.
