Dark Angel

Just finished season 1 of 'Dark Angel' yesterday, the series is much better than I remember it. Seems I am getting a thing for tv shows where girls kick ass. :) And why not? As Max says; "Girls kick ass, says so on a t-shirt." ;)

Loved the episode with Jensen Ackles, Pollo Loco. He portrayed psycho Ben so good. I loved it, though I did get a 'Supernatural' thing when he said; 'I'm a good soldier, I try so hard'. Hehe, what is it with me and the psycho characters? Seriously.

Started season 2 tonight, seen two episodes so far. It's changed pace a bit, but I like it, doesn't hurt that Jensen has gotten a regular spot in the series now. Now he plays Alec, name of smart-alec. He's kind of a younger Dean character. Maybe Alec and Ben were made from Dean's DNA. :P

Yes, I likes my conspiracy theories.

Am really looking forward to new 'Supernatural' episodes, good thing they come after my essay deadlines though. Have finally finished the big 4000 word essay, have now moved over to the complicated 2500 word essay. If you know anything about cinephilia, please share.

Anyways, back to 'Supernatural', I know there's been some changes, so the sickbed promo thing is a bit early, apparantly there's one or two episodes before that one. Looking forward to getting that show back. I really am! I need more quotable Sam/Dean moments. It is the 10th of January the start the new batch, right?

I used to watch DA - loved Jess Alba! But that poor girl has made some horrible movies:-(

I remember when DA was cancelled - James Cameron said something about wanting to do a movie. Guess that's not happening after all. Since he wants to do a live action based on the Battle Angel Alita manga and anime, maybe he'll use Jess.

And what do you mean by cinephilia?

Oh, yes, she's made a lot of crap. Think the only movie I've seen with her that I really enjoyed was 'Sin City', but I wasn't a big fan of her work in that film tough.

There is a movie... the last episode is the movie... I remember watching some behind the scenes thing on E! while they were making it.

“Cinephilia is the name of the very specific kind of love that cinema inspired. Each art breeds its fanatics. The love that cinema inspired, however, was special. It was born of the conviction that cinema was an art unlike any other; quintessentially modern; distinctively accessible; poetic and mysterious and erotic and moral - all at the same time.” -Susan Sontag
