My phone had a little adventure yesterday. I went out to get the mail at about 1230-1300 yesterday, with my cell in my pocket. Anyways the mail hadn't arrived yet, so I amused myself by throwing a few snowballs at the livingroom window, and my cellphone falls out of my pocket. I don't notice this and go back inside.
So in the evening at about 1700 I suddenly realise that I don't have my cell on me, so I call it. I don't hear a thing, so I go to my balcony door and then I hear it. Rushing downstair, grabbing the cordless phone I call my cell again and find it under the snow. So I dig it out, and get it inside to dry it out. I'm just happy it was still working!
When I reasemble it, I get 3 messages, all in russian! The first thing that comes into my mind is that the phone has gone all wonky, but it turns out the messages actually are from Russia, my mom tried to read them this morning, but couldn't really understand it.
I just think the whole thing was a bit weird, but in the end, very happy my cell is still working.

In other news I finally got to see 'Cabin Fever' yesterday, and I can sum it up in one word: crap.
But I won't stop there... it was complete and utter crap. This falls among the movies, that really makes me believe I could do better than them!
The story revolves around 5 horny teenagers who rent a cabin in the middle of the woods, where they plan to drink beer, have sex, shoot squirrels and do drugs, this sound familiar to anyone? Oh, yeah, and on the way they run into an child who bites people and has the worst haircut ever. Oh, and the psycho part, the kids get infected by some virus, and one of them drives into town and meets the kid again, the kid starts screaming about pancakes and doing some crazy ninja stuff before he bites the guy. Which leads daddy to go psycho and wanting to shoot the sick teen. WTF!?! Seriously!
I could go on forever about the stupidity of this film, but it's just not worth it. Just promise me you won't see it guys! Please?

After that mishap I watched 'The School of Rock'. I enjoyed it more this time than the last time I saw it. Was in a better mood this time around. I still don't think it's a genious movie, but it's fun, and has good music. :D And there was a reality show based on it called 'Rock School', though not officially. It's a cute movie, and I think Jack Black was perfect for the part, though if I remember correctly it was written for him. The kids are great too, I love the litte gay one and Summer. It's still not in my own collection, but am thinking it'll have to get a place there soon. :)

I haven't seen 'Hostel' yet, and this kind of put me off it. Will probably still see it though.
I was amazed at the stupidity of 'Cabin Fever', what was with that Pancake kid? And if some guy with a rotting face tries to steal the car the proceeds to puke blood in it, I say let him have the car.
I would have let him have it, then packed up and walked into the town, and the nearest phone, and then gotten on a bus.
*shakes head*
I'm rambling, sorry, I just couldn't stop finding logical faults with that movie as it progressed.

Well trust me when I tell you that Hostel is so much better. If you like Saw, then you'll most likely like Hostel. There are no Pancake Kung-Fu retards in Hostel. But there are a lot of boobs (mostly in the 1st half though.)

I still can't believe the 2 movies were made by the same dude, they're nothing alike.

Well, boobs aren't exactly an incentive for me to watch a movie.

Ah Cabin Fever.. I actually watched that the last time I kitty sat here! And yea you pretty much summed it up there, that movie was NASTY. Almost forgot about that freaky kid, lol.

It was horrible. I'm seriously confused as to how this film got funding.

Thank you! My actual birthday was lame, because I worked 12 1/2 hours. But I celebrated it over a week, and enjoyed the week tremendously!
