Slightly freakish River Tam (Serenity) clip HERE. Go have a look! I want Serenity now!! *Sulk*

So many good movies on the way, the wait is just to long.

I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind yesterday. Except for the fangirl complaint that Elijah Wood wasn't in ot nearly enough, I really liked it. Wasn't expecting to, to be honest. I liked it a whole lot better than Adaptation and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as I found those two to be pretty heavy movies. This is the most "light hearted" Charlie Kaufman creation I've ever seen.

There's not really that much I can say about this movie, I recommend people to see it, that's it.

Might go shopping with [livejournal.com profile] beluga  today... and mom tomorrow. Don't really feel the need for anything, but will have to see if I find anything... another pair of shoes might not hurt.

[livejournal.com profile] isil80  and [livejournal.com profile] beluga  coming over on Sunday... watching more 21 Jump Street. I'm not the biggest fan in the world, but it's kind of fun to get back in to the 80's frame of mind.

Yay! *jumps up and down* Eternal Sunshine!! :D There really isn't enough Patrick/Elijah in there is there :( Oh well, better than nothing! :)

[identity profile] roguem.livejournal.com 2005-08-18 11:40 am (UTC)(link)
I thought he was going to in it more, he kind of dissapeared halfway through. But as you say, it's better than nothing. :D

[identity profile] wilde-boy-jack.livejournal.com 2005-08-18 12:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I knew he wasn't in it too much, but I was still hoping he would be in it longer. I was a bit disappointed in Sin City because he was in that for only a really short time! :/

[identity profile] roguem.livejournal.com 2005-08-18 01:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Ys, at least he was longer in this one than in Sin City. I think I timed his Sin City screentime at about 5 minutes in total... That is way to little.

[identity profile] wilde-boy-jack.livejournal.com 2005-08-18 01:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah! Someone told me he was in Sin City for about 10 minutes or more, so I was so disappointed when he was only in it for about 5, like you said! Better than nothing I know, but I wish it had been longer!

[identity profile] roguem.livejournal.com 2005-08-18 01:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah... I really should read the rest of the comics, and see if Kevin makes another cameo. I want more!

[identity profile] wilde-boy-jack.livejournal.com 2005-08-18 01:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Definitely! If you find him in any other stories let me know!! :D

[identity profile] roguem.livejournal.com 2005-08-18 01:37 pm (UTC)(link)
You'll be the first to know. :)

Yes, I agree. I really liked the film, but must admit I only bought it because of Elijah. Happy with it. :)

Can't wait for the Sin City DVD.

Yes, I liked him too. His character isn't bad, just a bit clueless... though I didn't quite buy him not being able to get ladies. ;P

Oh, I'm waiting for the double disc version. Not falling for the one disc/different covers gimmick.

[identity profile] wilde-boy-jack.livejournal.com 2005-08-18 02:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Patrick looked so sweet you'd think ladies (and the occassional boy!) would love him!

I'm waiting for the double disc version of Sin City too, hopefully it will have some great extras!

[identity profile] roguem.livejournal.com 2005-08-18 02:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Hehe, my thought exactly. He had that puppy dog look, and knew how to use it.

I've heard rumors, of cast commentaries and some behind the scenes stuff.

Well, the Faculty DVD was kind of thin, but he can't skimp on the extras on this one.

yeahhhhhhhh, but he was just so lonely and inexperienced!lol

[identity profile] roguem.livejournal.com 2005-08-18 02:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Poor poor Patrick.

[identity profile] sebastian-tombs.livejournal.com 2005-08-23 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
I liked both Adaptation and Eternal Sunshine (although my complaint was the lack of use of Kirsten Dunst. go figure). I really like Jim Carrey when he's not being ridiculous.

I haven't seen Confessions yet.

[identity profile] roguem.livejournal.com 2005-08-23 11:06 am (UTC)(link)
I did like Adaptation, just felt a bit heavy for me. Don't think I'll be watching it again anytime soon.
I like the more serious Jim Carrey too, hope to see him do more roles like this.
Confessions was interesting, but I thought it was rather heavy too, but I liked the idea of a TV-host moonlighting as a contract killer.
