So many good movies on the way, the wait is just to long.

I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind yesterday. Except for the fangirl complaint that Elijah Wood wasn't in ot nearly enough, I really liked it. Wasn't expecting to, to be honest. I liked it a whole lot better than Adaptation and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as I found those two to be pretty heavy movies. This is the most "light hearted" Charlie Kaufman creation I've ever seen.

There's not really that much I can say about this movie, I recommend people to see it, that's it.

Might go shopping with beluga today... and mom tomorrow. Don't really feel the need for anything, but will have to see if I find anything... another pair of shoes might not hurt.

isil80 and beluga coming over on Sunday... watching more 21 Jump Street. I'm not the biggest fan in the world, but it's kind of fun to get back in to the 80's frame of mind.

I am *so* excited to hear they're making sequels!! And two of them!! Even if Elijah weren't in them they'd still be good, but I really, really hope he's in them!! He's great and Kevin is such an interesting character!

Yes, me as well, that's why I was gonna read the other comics, to see if he would pop up in the other films. I love the idea of a Kevin back-story. :D I thought he was a wicked character as well.
Going to watch the next movies even though he's not in them coz I really loved the first one and how they did it.

Yeah I loved how they filmed the movie too, I *hope* Elijah's in a sequel, but even if he isn't I'll watch them, the first one looked so fantastic! :)

Yes, I loved the film. Am hoping Hugh Jackman would get a role in one of the sequels, coz he would fit so great in to that world. And more Elijah would be great... a scene between them would be cool, but that might shortcircut my brain. hehe.

lol Yes I think you *would* meltdown!lol But you're right I think Hugh would be good in a movie like this, he does movies that are a bit dark like the X-Men ones...

I didn't like her very much in the first one, she was the worst one I thought... but it figures, Robert seems to have a thing for her.

Yeah, I've never liked her actually (sorry brittany!) but I hope if some of the cast from the first movie are coming back then maybe Elijah will too!

Agreed. I didn't feel like she knew what she was doing. But am hoping some of the other characters will pop up again. Dwight should make a reappearance... but might be played by anothe actor, because the Dwight we saw was after some reconstructive surgery, or some such.

I've never heard of that. I've just started Everything is Illuminated. It's very good so far :)

The preacher series is very good, given you're not overly religious.

I have to read EII too, but have like a hundred books I have to get through before I can get to that one.

Yes. He's done a couple of rom-coms too though. Which are sweet, but I do prefer his darker stuff.

The only movie I've seen of his was a rom-com, i didn't see it all, it was on tv, called Leopold and Kate I think.

That's one of the better rom-coms. I'm not big on Meg Ryan though.

I think she's ok at that kind of role...I heard she's not nice in real life though!

No, that's kind of the reason why I can't enjoy her on screen.

yeah, I used to think Jude Law was cool, but in his real life he seems a bit, yuck, so I'm kind of going off watching his movies because of that. Weird!

I've never been a big Jude fan, haven't seen to many of his movies.. but yes, he does seem kind of flaky.

He's a really good actor, but now it's hard to just watch his films without thinking about him cheating on his girlfriend and stuff. I guess that's he bad thing about the media, it makes it harder to just watch actors and not think about the real people...

I really liked him in 'Gattaca' come to think of it. But it's true, it's hard to separate the actor from the guy sometimes, especially when they act like assholes off camera. Half the reason I find it hard to watch Hugh Grant and Russel Crowe.
