This amuses me too.
Considering all the shit Stephenie Meyer has had to endure for changing a few aspects of the Vampire, it's kind of nice to see some of the others get included in the jokes as well.
If you go back and look at the original Vampire lore, pretty much every writer have taken liberties with it.

I'm sorry it took so long, I really have no idea why, but I guess the hiatus was beneficial for me. ;)

So Had my first day of school today, was rather tired when I got going, but it felt good to get started.

The first class 'Contemporary Film Theory' was rather boring. Theory isn't exactly my thing, and we were stuck in a poorly ventilated room, so that didn't help much either. Did pick up a bit when we saw a clip from 'The Usual Suspects'.

Next class was 'The Modern Vampire'. there was no screening, so I had a three hour wait between classes, but I found something to do. This class was rather fun, we watched an episode of 'X-Files' about Vampires, with Luke Wilson. Was rather funny, am thinking I might give that show a second chance.
Anyway the class seems very interesting, and got me thinking straight away. Thing is, zombies and vampires are inspired by the same folklore. Think about it! It's sooo obvious!

Am already looking forward to next week. :)

In other news, it looks like I'm going home in November, if the class tomorrow doesn't have that week of it has to have a pretty important subject that week for me to stay.

Tomorrow is the first Project-session, will be a long day, but am curious to see what we're doing.

isil80 came over last afternoon. The parental units were in Uskedalen for the weekend. She'd brought along season five of 'Angel', funny. It's not my fave show in the world, and my least fave Whedon-verse show, but had to have a look. My fave bit is when Adam Baldwin shows up mid season. The first thing that popped into my head when he showed up on screen was 'Oh! He looks so clean." Hehe. Nothing like Jayne at all, well the brute force was still there, but in a suit. *snigger*

Now... where was I in the exiting telling of our trip to Germany? Oh, yes.. thursday evening.

As I guessed, we didn't do anything else that day, stayed in and watched telly. Beluga and I finished of the day by watching "El Mariachi". It was ok, I almost fell asleep watching it though.

Yesterday was quite a busy day. First my mom, aunt, Kasia (Katarina), Beluga and I crammed into the car and drove to a shopping mall 20mins away.
Was pretty big mall, we didn't get to see much of it though. At least Beluga managed to buy some tops. All I bought was a Pepsi, and two pens.
We had a quick stop back at the flat, before we went to visit my other cousin, Bartek. He'd invited us over for coffee. He had a really nice flat, it was the first time I'd seen it. Was a great prize on it too, and he had enough space for himself. I'd be muchly happy to have place like that when I finally move out.
We then drove back to the flat and had dinner, we got some quiet time to get our things in order, and at 19:30 we went to the "Hamburger Dom". We walked around for most of it, I enjoyed myself. We met up with my cousin and her family. Beluga and I went to a special effects show. It was just some lights on a screen, it was nice to look at, but I think the price was a bit high.
I followed my cousins kid up in a ferris-wheel. Was actually pretty nice, got to see the whole Dom, and much of the city. It was pretty dark at the time, so I mostly saw the lights of the city. :) In the meantime Beluga had a trip in a rollercoaster, she wasn't to pleased with it, as it didn't last long enough.
We broke away from the parental-units and went looking for a real ride for Beluga, she found a fast thing where she'd be turned up side down and such. (I stayed of it, as I get sick just by looking at it.) She seemed to have lots of fun riding it, they stopped for 2 secs in the middle of her ride, and turned of most of the lights in the park. Once the fireworks started, the machine started up again. I actually think she got a longer ride since she got on when the fireworks started. When she finally got off she was pretty jazzed. :)
We hurried and met up with the rest of the crew again, and stared walking towards the exit, stopped some places and had a look. I gave one of those grabby-machines a try, you know those machines with a claw, and the you have to steer it towards a thing you want, then it grabs it.. or not. I won a teddy. It was cute, and I needed some kind of proof that I'd been to the Dom.
Beluga and I stopped at a ghost house, she saw that there'd be live actors, so we though it might be fun. In front of the house there was a big tree, looked like Treebeard if he'd ever gotten drunk. The biggest scare it got there was before we bought the tickets. :P Some guy dressed up as a vampire jumped out of the smoke and said: "BO!"
All in all it was rather amusing. There was a guy dressed all in white, with a dirty face, and a cute little teddy that he kept petting following us around. There was a group of teeny-boopers close by as well, and he really freaked them out. LOL, wimps!
When we finished at the ghost house, we made our way towards exit again. Had a little look in the shop, and Beluga bought herself some new sun-glasses. We left as they were closing, and got back to the flat at about 00:30. I was pretty tired, and it didn't take long for me to fall asleep. No movies that night, oh no.

Today, Beluga's off to the hairdresser to get some highlights, mom and my aunt went to visit someone. My dad, uncle and I are staying in, just taking it easy.

We go back home on Monday... not sure what the plan is for the remaining day. We might go to another mall later today, and I think we're visiting my cousin tomorrow.

It's late and I'm bored, can't sleep, have drunk to much coke. Hehe, not the first time it's happened, don't mind it actually. I like the night, it's quiet. Well, London is never 100%, but it's close enough. The only thing that bugs me is the sirens, the sound just creeps me out.

Had a quiet day today, fell asleep again after breakfast. Wasn't gonna sleep, it just happened. Took it easy today, had a little trip in to Piccadilly Circus again today. Buckled under the pressure and bought the "X2" book I've been eying; "The art of X2". I loved it, it has conceptual art, behind the scenes pictures, storyboards + the script. I like reading the final draft of a script to a film, and see how different it is from the final product. There are some differences, some I'm VERY glad they changed, other ones I kind of would have liked to see in the movie. Great book, will definitely be flipping through it more than once. ;)
I read an early draft for "X-Men", and I'm so glad they changed the script, it was just to weird. In that version they needed Wolverine, not Rogue, to power the mutation machine. Why, you ask. Because of the adamantium! In the first draft adamantium powered the machine, even the dog-tags were adamantium, that's how they tested the machine on Senator Kelly. The idea didn't suck, but having Rogue rescue Wolverine would just be to weird. Ah, that wasn't the main flaw, but the only thing I remember for the moment.

Camelia will be returning tomorrow, am looking forward to it. It's been to quiet in our room. Just got a message from her saying that she's looking forward to coming back, cos there's nobody to talk to when the lights go out. Awww, she's sweet. Am looking forward to getting news from home as well.

Hmmm, am getting a bit tired, wierd... I'm in no hurry, tomorrow's lazy day. There's nothing on the telly until 22:00 tomorrow, so I'll probably be raiding the video's. I should do some school work as well, while it's still quiet. ;P
