Let me guess....crying, screaming, hyperventilating? You tried to breathe out but your body insisted on breathing in again and again and again before you could? I think it took me about an hour to calm down afterwards. Then i couldn't watch it again for about 2 days afterwards! and i had to leave the room whenever "Don't come round tonight, for it's bound to take your life...there is a Bad Moon on the Rise" was played....
Check out 'Of Bastard Saints' by nilchance. Or Mayrgra's 'Crash/5 days' for fanfics which are pretty damn good with dealing with the aftermath.
