We're back home, arrived on the ferry 9 a.m. today. Drove
beluga home, and was back at my own place at about 10 a.m. Was greeted by the house sitters, will be sharing the house with them for a while now.
I spendt about 2 1/2 hours unpacking and getting everithing stored away. Some of it I just put away for my parents to deal with.
Now I'm taking it easy, will be on lj later tonight to have a look.

It's been a busy week.
Jul. 8th, 2006 11:23 pmOn Monday I had kind of a quiet day, doing stuff around the house and such. Got Marie on the phone and managed to figure out when she was coming. Turned out she'd be staying for a night, which was very nice.
In the evening I went to
Tuesday I had a very calm day, worked on my Salvation review.
She slept over.
Wednesday got up at an okay hour.
Thursday I got up early, didn't take to long until Marie got up as well, we got some breakfast, and Marie asked to watch more Supernatural. Was happy to oblidge. Hehe, We started with Shadow and worked through Hell House, Provenance, Dead Man's Blood, Salvation and Devil's Trap. Can't believe we actually made it through them all. We finished at about 1600, so it was about time to get dressed and get some dinner. Lol, we ate the rest of the tacos. After dinner we headed into the city and met
Today has been okay, but got a little stressed when i realized the house sitters are coming tomorrow and I haven't done much to prepare for their arrival and my own trip, so was a little stressed, going around the house doing stuff.
That's about it for now. Tomorrow I have to get the house completely ready for the house sitters, meet them at the boat. Then until sometime on Monday I'll have to fill them in on all the stuff about the house, what to do and not to do. Get my suitcase packed and get it to
Hope everybody's having a good time.

Supernatural
May. 21st, 2006 06:34 pmIt's getting harder and harder to not watch the final two episodes of Supernatural.
beluga and I have an agreement to wait until I come back home (in 13 days) and then we'll watch them together. Now unlike her I try to stay away from spoilers and such, I want to be as clueless as possible before watching the final two.
It's hard, I've accidentaly read something involving the car, there are 2-3 Dean icons floating around my flist which are totally killing me and a John icon that worries me. I'm really tempted to watch them, but I won't... I won't!
On the up side, I have a lot of work this coming week, plus I'll have a visitor for the weekend. The following week will be spent packing an sorting out last minute stuff. That should be able to distract me until I finally get to go home, and watch them with
beluga.
Now, I beg my entire flist to post anything about the two last eppies of Supernatural behind a cut, and write a spoiler warning, I'll be very grateful.
Thank you for listening to my rambling, the men with in the white coats are here now... oh! They even brought me one.

At this very moment I was supposed to be on a plane from Oslo to London, but that was not to be. I am at home right now.
We got to the airport, and saw that my flight had been delayed an hour. It was still enough time for me to catch the connection in Oslo, so we waited, after an hour it got delayed further. I figure I might as well go to the information and just rebook the flight, so I'll be leaving tomorrow at 8 a.m. instead.
Suits me just fine to be honest, at least then I have all day tomorrow if there should be more delays and such.

Supposed to be writing my essay...
Dec. 19th, 2005 06:46 pm... but am taking a little break. Need time to think a little bit, so figured I'd update.
Am feeling a bit better, but two nights ago I woke up in the middle of the night, after I splashed some water on my face I suddenly felt like the temperature dropped extremely and I was really freezing, and I got naseous, made my way in to my livingroom, grabbed my blanket, wrapped myself in it and just lay on the floor. I've experienced something like that before, but think it's the first time it was connected to a cold. Weird, went away though.
Tonight I actually managed to sleep the entire night... didn't wake up till 13:35. I hate sleeping that late, I always try to be up by 12:00 when I'm at home... 10:00 when I'm in London.
Anyways... am feeling better. Just coughing and feeling a bit tired now, at least the runny nose seems to have stopped.
I've been watching 'Prison Break' eps 1-10. I really like it! The guy who plays Lincoln Burrows, Dominic Purcell, is half Norwegian... just had to mention that. ;) It's a good show. I've always though Wentworth Miller was a good looking man, but never more, but he does look very good in this show, hope the big-suits finally notice him and give him some bigger roles and such. I couldn't forget him after the 1 1/2 episodes of 'Popular' he was in, might have been because I loved his character though.
Am still loving 'Supernatural'. That scene in 'The Journey Home' when Dean calls his Dad. Just wonderful. I want more episodes now!!! I made two Dean icons for
beluga... I just had to share.

Normally I'd post these over in my icon journal,
mukkianglia, but since they were made for
beluga, I'll post them here.
Okay, should get back to my essay. If anybody has anything to say about camera work, or movies and such where they think the camera work and such is very good, please share, and tell me why. Am thinking mainly gritty or dark stuff ala 'Sin City' and 'Angel'... even 'Firefly'. Please share with me, links on the subject are welcome too. :)
Btw I've gotten some cards! I forgot to thank you! *slaps self*.
Thank you very much for you card
starlit_woods, I loved it, and what you wrote made me smile. Thank you very much for the stickers too! :D
Thank you very much
_krystleklear, what you wrote made me very happy, I hope to keep you on my flist for a long time too. :D
And last but not least thank you very much
across_thestars for your wonderful card, it was very cute. :D
I hope everyone has recieved the cards I sent them, I sent them about two weeks ago, so they should have arrived by now.
Okay, back to work.

It's good to be home
Dec. 17th, 2005 01:08 amHad quite a trip yesterday.
Was driven to Heatrow by a very cheerful taxi driver. He was really funny and amusing.
Got to Heathrow, checked in, sat down and waited... it's 15 minutes till my flight leaves and they finally list it as delayed by 30 minutes. That means I only have 15 minutes in Oslo, so I go to a help desk to check my options, was helpful.
I return to the screen, and find out the flight's been delayed another 20 minutes.
When we finally get on the plane, there's no apology or anything, just some lame story about how they're driver made them an hour late... and all I can think is that we have to check in 2 hours before take off, they should sure as hell manage to get there in time too. I was getting used to the idea of having the night at a hotel in Oslo, cos when I looked at my watch it was take off time for my next flight. While on our way in for landing we're told that passangers going to Kristiansand have to go to gate 22. I see a glimpse of hope.
Rush of the plane, end up in a pass port check que that doesn't move, and kind of give up hope again. Get out, collect my bags, hurry up, find that there are no people there. Find a screen that says gate closing, and run like hell, with one 10kg bag and a 20kg bag = heavy. There were no security checks open, get rushed through the one for the pilots, run like hell again, reach the gate out of breath near to having an athma attack. The gate is empty... I feel like giving up when suddenly a woman comes throught the doors, I'm so out of breath I barely manage to ask if I can still get on, when two other passangers run up behind me. She lets us in, and I have to drop my bag through a shute to get it under the plane. I sit, still out of breath. But very happy to be on the plane. Turns out they were waiting for us, and some other people, so we sit there for a while and finally depart after a small family has boarded the plane... That plane is about an hour and a half late.
I finally get home to my family!
beluga was with my parents to the airport, she's moved in. :) Was good to see them again.
I was home at about 2 a.m. Didn't really get to sleep till about 3 a.m. Rather tired and exhausted.
Today was a calm day.
isil80 stopped by, we watched 'Supernatural' eps 4-10. I love that show!!! My fave episode has to be ep 5; 'Phantom Traveler'. Brilliant.
Topped it off with two episodes of 'House', think
beluga liked it... must find more episodes.
