Am goint to Oslo this weekend, won't be able to get online while I'm there.
I'm using this opportunity to take a little break from LJ as well. It's been taking up a lot of my time lately and I need to focus on other things. I'll still check inonce in a while, but I won't be as active.
If you wanna defriend me because of this I won't hold a grudge, just tell me so I can do the same.

Have had a quiet week really. Been surfing the net, getting caught up on some of my shows and just trying to get some stuff done. 

Looks like I'm off to Oslo in November, really looking forward to it. Janki is looking into getting me tickets for 'Hair'. I hope I get to see it, would be so awesome to see him perform. I've never been a big musical fan, but this is different. If it doesn't work out I figure I'll try to contact Nina and we'll hang out or something.

So I finally got to see the season opener of "Prison Break". It was good, but I was also kind of dissapointed. I've always kind of seen this series as holding on to realism as well as they could. I mean if you remove all the close shaves and stuff that's just in there to be dramatic one can to some degree buy into it all. They do manage to hold the suspense all the way through, which is rare, and very well done.
I still like the show, and will keep watching. It is one of the most well written with regards to the close shaves and drama, and keeping the exitement level high. I'll keep watching and hoping that it'll redeem these issues in some way. New episode tonight, so we'll see what happens.

Not much else happening really. Am kind of looking forward to going back to work. I've applied at a job at the airport, and am looking in to some other things that could hold me over until I get an actual movie/TV gig.

We're starting to pack some stuff. Looking for boxes and stuff. I'll have to go through all my stuff and see what I want to keep and if there's anything I can throw away. I hate this part.
My dad has been going through a lot of his stuff and has started selling a bunch of stuff online. Sad really, a lot of what he's selling has been in our family for a long time. It's not of any use anymore, so I get why he's selling it, but it's still kind of sad.

If you've been paying attention you'll have seen that I've been posting a lot of fan-art, mainly by request. So I'm keeping this open, if you have any requests, just ask. I'll make banners, headers, icons, wallpapers, soundbites, and caps. No problem.

Thought I had finished  "Prison Break" yesterday. Turned out I have another episode before I can start season 2. I only figured it out because one of isil80's icons featured something from the last episode and it struck me after I'd gone to bed that I hadn't seen that. So am in the process of getting it now and will get to watch it later. 

My mom's feeling much better now, coughing has calmed down quite a bit so she's very happy about that.

I might be taking a trip to Oslo in the beginning of November. Visiting Janki, and hopefully getting to see him perform in 'Hair'. Will have a talk with him on Monday and see how it works out. Would be so fun if it worked out.

When my parents started this whole thing about wanting to move to a smaller apartement I figured they would take their time, and maybe I'd have a chance to start looking for one of my own before we actually had to leave the house. Seems I was way to optimistic. I've been honest with my parents, said I'm not happy with the situation, but I understand that they want something smaller. 
They put in on a bid on a place, it was a very nice flat, but they got outbid and left it alone. They've contacted the realtor so he can get started on the process of selling the house. As much as I love my parents, even in this house I sometimes feel that we're living to close, a little apartment won't help matters. It's also, that I've been moving back and forth from London for the last 3 years, I was finally looking forward to some stability, not having to think of moving for another year. And I'm uprooted again. I'm so tired of packing up my life and moving around. 
I feel like I can't fully relax here anymore, because I keep waiting to hear my parents tell me it's time to start packing again.
Just feeling a bit hopeless right now, only time will tell.

On the upside. I sent an application via post to Nordisk Film about a moth ago. So yesterday I checked the e-mail I set up for work purposes, and there was a mail from them asking me to send my CV via e-mail, so I would be easier to distribute in between the departments. This got my hopes up a little bit, hopefully there might be something for me there. It's in Oslo though, so I'd have to move, but to be honest since that would be moving to my own place I'd be happy. The more I think about it Oslo isn't a bad place to end up, I really didn't want to initially as I'm not to fond of Oslo, but I have friends there, and it's much easier to come home here to visit my family and friends than any of the other places. Cross your fingers for me?

beluga stopped by here yesterday, was very nice. We sat talking for a while, ended up watching an episode of 'Psych', followed by 'Supernatural: Faith', and the first two episodes of season 3 of 'House M.D.'.
On a side note: I've discovere that 'Psych' used a location that's been used in 'Supernatural'. I can provide photographic evidence if you wish.

Okay, and now for a little project I'm working on. Pimping norwegian artists. Behind the cut are three music videos from YouTube, featuring different Norwegian artists. Have a listen and look and see what you think. We all like finding new music don't we?

I'll keep posting vids like this every once in a while, have collected quite a few. Not all bands I like, but that doesn't mean you guys won't like 'em. Hope you find something that tickles your fancy.

Went to visit isil80 on Thursday, that was fun.

Quiet weekend, watched 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom' and 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade'. I have a theory brewing as a result. Watch this space. 
Anyways, I really don't want there to be an 'Indiana Jones 4'.
Have also watched the first two episodes of 'Psych'. And the first episode of season 2 of 'Dark Angel'. I just had to as it seems to be mentioned on my flist a lot lately.

Next round of applications going out tomorrow, JC says he might have gotten a lead for me. It's in Oslo though, but to be honest that's probably where I'll end up in the end anyway.

I'm finally in London. Got here to the house at about 14:30...
There were delays this morning as well. First plane was delayed over an hour, I was so tired I actually fell asleep before takeoff, hehe. In Oslo I was a bit stressed, because we were 40 minutes late for the London plane, so I took it easy, only to discover that that plane had been delayed too, so I made it.
So now I am safely in London, knackered and really looking forward to bed time.
School tomorrow. Short day tomorrow, don't think we have a screening, so I'll get a little sleep.

Had quite a trip yesterday.
Was driven to Heatrow by a very cheerful taxi driver. He was really funny and amusing.
Got to Heathrow, checked in, sat down and waited... it's 15 minutes till my flight leaves and they finally list it as delayed by 30 minutes. That means I only have 15 minutes in Oslo, so I go to a help desk to check my options, was helpful.
I return to the screen, and find out the flight's been delayed another 20 minutes.
When we finally get on the plane, there's no apology or anything, just some lame story about how they're driver made them an hour late... and all I can think is that we have to check in 2 hours before take off, they should sure as hell manage to get there in time too. I was getting used to the idea of having the night at a hotel in Oslo, cos when I looked at my watch it was take off time for my next flight. While on our way in for landing we're told that passangers going to Kristiansand have to go to gate 22. I see a glimpse of hope.
Rush of the plane, end up in a pass port check que that doesn't move, and kind of give up hope again. Get out, collect my bags, hurry up, find that there are no people there. Find a screen that says gate closing, and run like hell, with one 10kg bag and a 20kg bag = heavy. There were no security checks open, get rushed through the one for the pilots, run like hell again, reach the gate out of breath near to having an athma attack. The gate is empty... I feel like giving up when suddenly a woman comes throught the doors, I'm so out of breath I barely manage to ask if I can still get on, when two other passangers run up behind me. She lets us in, and I have to drop my bag through a shute to get it under the plane. I sit, still out of breath. But very happy to be on the plane. Turns out they were waiting for us, and some other people, so we sit there for a while and finally depart after a small family has boarded the plane... That plane is about an hour and a half late.
I finally get home to my family! beluga was with my parents to the airport, she's moved in. :) Was good to see them again.
I was home at about 2 a.m. Didn't really get to sleep till about 3 a.m. Rather tired and exhausted.

Today was a calm day. isil80 stopped by, we watched 'Supernatural' eps 4-10. I love that show!!! My fave episode has to be ep 5; 'Phantom Traveler'. Brilliant.
Topped it off with two episodes of 'House', think beluga liked it... must find more episodes.

AHHHH! The loveliness of it all.

Jumping in a taxi at 1630, plane leaves at 1930. Problem is that if my flight from London to Oslo is delayed I might not get my baggage in Oslo. You see, Norway has this stupid little rule that if you travel, say London-Oslo-Kristiansand, you have to go through customs with all your bags in Oslo, and then check them in again. I only hav abput 40 minutes in Oslo, so if my flight's delayed I'll have to leave it. They'll send it on the next plane, but it just bugs me... But then again there's trouble with the flights from Oslo, so I might be stuck there all night before I get home. I'm tempted to demand that they put me on a train because I want to get home as soon as possible. We'll see, no need to worry before it happens.

Point is; I'M GOING HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
