When my parents started this whole thing about wanting to move to a smaller apartement I figured they would take their time, and maybe I'd have a chance to start looking for one of my own before we actually had to leave the house. Seems I was way to optimistic. I've been honest with my parents, said I'm not happy with the situation, but I understand that they want something smaller. 
They put in on a bid on a place, it was a very nice flat, but they got outbid and left it alone. They've contacted the realtor so he can get started on the process of selling the house. As much as I love my parents, even in this house I sometimes feel that we're living to close, a little apartment won't help matters. It's also, that I've been moving back and forth from London for the last 3 years, I was finally looking forward to some stability, not having to think of moving for another year. And I'm uprooted again. I'm so tired of packing up my life and moving around. 
I feel like I can't fully relax here anymore, because I keep waiting to hear my parents tell me it's time to start packing again.
Just feeling a bit hopeless right now, only time will tell.

On the upside. I sent an application via post to Nordisk Film about a moth ago. So yesterday I checked the e-mail I set up for work purposes, and there was a mail from them asking me to send my CV via e-mail, so I would be easier to distribute in between the departments. This got my hopes up a little bit, hopefully there might be something for me there. It's in Oslo though, so I'd have to move, but to be honest since that would be moving to my own place I'd be happy. The more I think about it Oslo isn't a bad place to end up, I really didn't want to initially as I'm not to fond of Oslo, but I have friends there, and it's much easier to come home here to visit my family and friends than any of the other places. Cross your fingers for me?

beluga stopped by here yesterday, was very nice. We sat talking for a while, ended up watching an episode of 'Psych', followed by 'Supernatural: Faith', and the first two episodes of season 3 of 'House M.D.'.
On a side note: I've discovere that 'Psych' used a location that's been used in 'Supernatural'. I can provide photographic evidence if you wish.

Okay, and now for a little project I'm working on. Pimping norwegian artists. Behind the cut are three music videos from YouTube, featuring different Norwegian artists. Have a listen and look and see what you think. We all like finding new music don't we?

I'll keep posting vids like this every once in a while, have collected quite a few. Not all bands I like, but that doesn't mean you guys won't like 'em. Hope you find something that tickles your fancy.

This has been a weird day, lol, first I discover that ad in the paper and of course, send my application to them. 

Then in the afternoon I get a phone call from one of the other firms I've sent my CV to asking me to come in for an interview! It was with 'Penelope Film' which made the 'Kamilla og tyven' movies. I just rushed, got dressed, freshened up and jumped in the car to be inteviewed. Now, turns out they don't have anything right now, but they're working on getting a movie off the ground, and if that happens I might get a spot with them in January, i just have to call every once in a while to get progress reports, and make sure they don't forget about me. Also I might be helping him out at a local school on the movie course as an assistant next week, that part is without pay, but any experience is good.

so if I don't get anything before January there's a good chance I can get on board with them then. Knowing that there is something to hope for makes me very happy. :D

There was actually an ad in the paper today! Okay, not a 100% what I was looking for, but involves camera work and editing, so I sent an application. It's as a substitute at th local news channel, so I need to tap in to some of my journalism education. It was never something I exelled at, but I'm giving this a shot. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! ;P

So cross you fingers that I at least get an interview. 

I got my first answer letter today on my CV, it was a rejection, as the didn't have any openings. TV3 gets the medal for quick reply. I wasn't sad really, just happy to get some kind of reply.

Dad's entered something where you get to go parachuting for free, apparantly there's been so many interested people that they're going to be raffling out the spots. I had no idea that that's something he's wanted to do, or would even dare to do. Cool though.

Went to visit isil80 on Thursday, that was fun.

Quiet weekend, watched 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom' and 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade'. I have a theory brewing as a result. Watch this space. 
Anyways, I really don't want there to be an 'Indiana Jones 4'.
Have also watched the first two episodes of 'Psych'. And the first episode of season 2 of 'Dark Angel'. I just had to as it seems to be mentioned on my flist a lot lately.

Next round of applications going out tomorrow, JC says he might have gotten a lead for me. It's in Oslo though, but to be honest that's probably where I'll end up in the end anyway.

I handed in my laptop to be fixed today, minor things, nothing to worry about... I hope.

I've ent out my first batch of CV's, now I just have to wait.
