Wow

This has been a weird day, lol, first I discover that ad in the paper and of course, send my application to them. 

Then in the afternoon I get a phone call from one of the other firms I've sent my CV to asking me to come in for an interview! It was with 'Penelope Film' which made the 'Kamilla og tyven' movies. I just rushed, got dressed, freshened up and jumped in the car to be inteviewed. Now, turns out they don't have anything right now, but they're working on getting a movie off the ground, and if that happens I might get a spot with them in January, i just have to call every once in a while to get progress reports, and make sure they don't forget about me. Also I might be helping him out at a local school on the movie course as an assistant next week, that part is without pay, but any experience is good.

so if I don't get anything before January there's a good chance I can get on board with them then. Knowing that there is something to hope for makes me very happy. :D

I'm going to keep looking, but it sounded like a very interesting project which I would love to be a part of, so we'll see.
I'm applying at movie and television companies, preferably camera or editing work, but I'll do anything that's needed as long as I can be part of it. :)

i have a new found respect for people who are involve in that industry, well since my dad's job is all about films and other stuff. god editing is so tedious and just insane...you need a lot of patience and hardwork for that. so goodluck and it's good that you are really excited :)

Editing cam be really tedious, I often can't watch the finished product for ages after I've finished because I'm so sick of it. Hehe, but it depends really.
