Going back to London tomorrow. Exam is on Wednesday, but I think I already mentioned that. ;)

Have had a full weekend. Hehe. On friday my mom and I went shopping, getting stuff we needed for the weekend, and looking at some clothes and such. I ended up with a new pair of shoes, small buffalo shoes. Am very happy with them, feel more like big socks than shoes when I'm wearing them. Very comfy. After all the shopping, we went to our fave pizza place; Dolly Dimple's, and enjoyed a big Bankers pizza. JUMMY! :D

In the evening [livejournal.com profile] isil80  came by, we discussed our trip to Poland a little bit. Gave her a few pointers, but probably nothing she didn't already know. I got to show her the first episode of Firefly (which I love). Don't think she was completely sold, but she borrowed it and promised to check out the next episodes on her own, if she doesn't finish by the time we leave for Poland we'll bring it along.

I get that she wasn't sold right away... don't think I was really hooked until the middle of disc 2, but I love it now. And I've gotten JC to love it too. :)

Saturday [livejournal.com profile] beluga  stopped by in the evening, just in time for tacos. We just took it easy, watched some TV. She'd brought along some DVD's. We started off with the BBC drama Man and Boy, which [livejournal.com profile] beluga  had bought because Ioan Gruffudd had the lead role. It was cute, but dripping of the BBC drama stamp, hehe. Some parts I felt were fragmentet, but considering it was based on a book it was ok. Afterwards we saw 28 Days Later..., which I really liked.. we both really liked. I've never really been big on zombie films, but this one wasn't as over the top as they sometimes end up being. It'll most likely end up in my DVD collection at some point. We both kind of 'discovered' Cillian Murphy in this film, and are now looking forward to seeing how he fares in Batman Begins and Red-Eye. After that we just went to bed and had sweet zombie-filled dreams. ;P

Today there was more of being lazy. It was beautiful weather today though, so my parents decided to barbeque, which is always a good think. I had hamburgers while the others had pork chops. (I hate pork chops). Aftwerward Beluga and I went inside and watched Star Wars, we were kind of affected by the kid in Man and Boy who was addicted to Star Wars. That and we really felt the need for a GOOD Star Wars movie.

The we started  watching The Evil Dead, which I found weird, but I kind of liked it anyway. It's very good considering the budget they had and such. When we finished The Evil Dead, we just had to see Evil Dead II. I kind of like that even though they kind of disregard what happened in the first one. Since we we're on a roll we finished off the series with Army of Darkness (Evil Dead 3). Which is campy as hell, but does have some funny bits. What shines clearly through in these movies, moreso in Army of Darkness is that Sam Raimi is a fan of The Three Stooges. Part of me likes these movies even though they don't really have any purpose.. also, was kind of bummed when the version of Army of Darkness we saw, had a different ending than the one i saw in 2001. This was the directors cut, but the other ending is better. I think another reason that i like these movies is that I have a soft spot for Bruce Campbell, find him very silly, but I remember watching The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. when I was a kid and just loving it... I kind of wanna see that show again, it probably stinks now, but I still want to see it.

Hmm, got a teensy bit sidetracket there. Anyways... Am finally watching Sin City on wednesday. HURRAY!!! Will be after I've finished my exam, so figured that would be a perfect way to finish the schoolyear. Hehe. JC is definetly joining me, don't know about Benedicte yet, haven't heard from her in a while.

Okay, think I'll finish off now. Wish me luck on wednesday morning. I'll be back home late thursday evening so I'll catch up with you guys then. Bye Bye.
