If anybody could help me with this?

I've been trying to screen cap some stuff in Windows Media Player using 'print screen'. It doesn't work, when I paste the picture into paint, everything but the picture of the clip I'm playing moves.
I've gotten around this by playing three clips in various players at the same time, while capping from the third, but this tires my computer, and is very annoying.
I've opened the files in my DVD player, but then the picture button is disabeled.

Do any of you have any ideas about what I can do to make this easier on myself? Any ideas are welcome. :D

I don't know how to fix things but I know that you cannot use print screen to cap in Windows Media Player. You might want to browse around here (http://www.livejournal.com/community/cap_it/1550405.html) for answers.

Windows Media Player won't let you print screen, either will another programme that I can't remember the title of...I can only do screen caps if the file is in QuickTime movie format (the file would be called something like "roguem.mov"). We used to have a dvd player thing that would let you take pictures and had a little camera button you could press but the programme we have now doesn't seem to be able to do it either. Very annoying! Good luck with it!

:D Well you're a good influence! I've grown up listening to older music because of my parents and my older brothers and sisters, so I know some bands others have never heard of! :)

Dad has a huge 60-70s pop collection I've "stolen".. He still listens to Beatles and ABBA every now and then, but he's much more up-to-date than me. Same goes for mom. They like modern pop..

This is a common problem, not just with WMP but also QuickTime and the like. It's supposed to be some sort of security thing so that you can't use the copyrighted material or whatever, but it can be gotten around. There are special prgorammes available for capping purposes on the web, and I think a community like [livejournal.com profile] cap_it can point you to the places where you can find them. Good luck! :)

Yeah, I figured it out. It works on my Quicktime already though, but seing as most of my vid files are WMP I needed something.
[livejournal.com profile] primavera8180 gave me a link to [livejournal.com profile] cap_it as well and I found something.
Thank you very much for your help! :D
