Hugh Jackman Talks X-Men 3

Horror.com chatted with Hugh Jackman about his upcoming "Van Helsing" and a possible return as Wolverine in X-Men 3...

Q: How will it feel to bounce between franchises with this and the X-Men?

JACKMAN: Well, um, I've got to admit I said that exact question to my agent and Universal. I said, 'Do you think maybe I shouldn't be in both of them?' He said, 'I think this is the first time in history I've had an actor worry about being in two successful franchises.' And course, that's a good point. If they're good movies and people want to see them and want to see another, you know, then... why not?

Q: Are you up for that?

JACKMAN: Yeah. I'm contracted for another Van Helsing. But I'm not contracted for any more X-Men. But would I like to do it? I'd find it hard to see someone else play the role, yeah. I love both of them. If I hated the movies and had to come back again, it would be a terrible situation.

I'm confused... just a couple of months ago he was contracted for two more movies.
I want him signed and ready to put on the claws, pronto!

Bryan Singer's off doing a remake of Logan's Run, I think it's looking a little bit dark for the 2006 release. I don't know, hopefully it is Bryan that'll be making X3. They can't start screwing with the formula now.

Hmm yea.. i heard about Logan's Run too. Don't see how he could do both, so I dunno! :\ I wouldn't want someone else either, I liked his style.

He is so popular as Wolvie though, they would be crazy to let him go..

yea I won't sleep right til it's official.. ;(
