They don't say he's Bilbo, but it strongly indicates that he has a role in the film.

EDIT:
Based on his height and build I can't see him playing a Hobbit. Actually considering that he'd be better suited as an elf or human. I'm basing this on the actors who were in the LotR films.
Would love it if David had a role in the film though.

Ja, det er ganske ulogisk å ha han som hobbit, mannen er jo ein pinne og rundt 185 høg, men liker veldig godt ideen av at han kan være med i filmen.

Based on his height I'm sure he's up for a human or possibly an elf.
