Jackman Adopts Baby Daughter

Van Helsing and X-Men 2. star Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness have a new addition to their family, after adopting a baby girl. The Australian couple, who are already the adoptive parents of five-year-old Oscar Maximillian, have now welcomed Ava Eliot into their family. Jackman's representative John Palermo says, "They are very happy." Ava was born on July 10, reportedly in Texas. Jackman, 36, and Furness, 45, married in 1996, after co-starring in the Australian TV series Correlli.

how nice for them! I was curious why don't try to have a child of their own, but then I saw her age and thought hmm maybe she can't anymore. But what lucky kids those two are. :)

I didn't know this befor isil80 told me. Oscar I knew about before they got him.
I liked the name. Nice combo.

I don't know if she's to old.. women in their 60s are having kids. 40s shouldn't be a problem.

I think adopting is a good way to go though. To many homeless kids out there.

that's for sure.. good on them. And true there are exceptions for some women. Hopefully in my case too cuz I would like a kid one day but ain't happenin now! ;P

yea, i'm not stressing.. i'm still in my 'fun' mode anyway. ;) And nothing wrong with adoption.. it's a good thing for both sides.
