Hey, thanks for answering. :D

I didn't know Nat King Col had the original 'Nature boy', dunno why, but I thought it was Bowie... Very cool. Nat had a nice voice.

What is The City of Lost Children about? Don't think I've heard of it. Will be checking out your other recs as well. :D

I can upload Nat King Cole's version for you sometime if you like? He really did have such a great voice :)

City of Lost Children is a French film, made by the director who made Amelie. It's a kind of fairy tale about a little orphan girl who becomes friends with a circus strong man and together they go searching for the strong man's little brother who has been kidnapped along with a whole lot of other children. It's really great, the colours in the film are excellent, the music's fantastic, there's organ grinders, siamese twins, one eyed people called the Cyclops' a mad scientist, an evil scientist, a dwarf and a bunch of identical clones who have a sleeping problem. Oh, and a talking brain in a tank! It's excellent ;)

lol I've never heard of anyone having a phobia for French stuff before! ;) But yeah, I think if you liked Amelie you should like this one too, he also directed another movie called Delicatessen which was great too. Both Delicatessen and City of Lost Children were directed by him (Jean-Pierre Jeunet) and his friend Marc Caro.

Yeah, I know... I'm a bit weird. I try not to let it stop me from enjoying French things though...
I wasn't a bigfan of Delicatessen, it disturbed me.

Yeah Delicatessen was a bit dark wasn't it? It's my least favourite of the three it was a bit disturbing. I'd say City of Lost Children is in the middle in the 'lightness' stakes and Amelie's the 'lightest'.

Nature Boy - Nat King Cole

I hope you like it, it's my favourite version of the song :) His daughter Natalie Cole also did a version of it once which I thought was very nice!

Yes I have Natalie singing "Nature Boy" if you're interested. I also have her doing that duet with Nat on "Unforgettable" too, I think she might have even sung some more of his old songs, but I don't know if they were duets with him or just solo.

Michael Chriton, that's the guy who's responsible for ER and Jurrsasic Park, isn't it? Will def be checking out that book.

Yes it was the recent Crash.. what was the Spader one?

And yes, he's the author of Jurassic Park. I've read most of his books.. great stuff. Travels is actually a non-fiction book he wrote about his own life experiences with adventure travels, going to med school and some trippy supernatural events. Very interesting!

Can't remember what they did on Swordfish either.. guess i'll have to watch it again! ;P
