» I committed suicide: Be upset, probably cry. See if I can attend the funeral / cremation. Secretly start practicing necromancy and bring you back, dammit!

» I lived next door to you: Make apple pie often, hang out with you loads and watch many, many films together.
» I started smoking: Thwack you. Steal your cigarettes. Tell you that coffee is a far better thing to be addicted to.

» I was hospitalized: Come visit you and bring pressies if it were possible.
» I ran away from home: See if I could help you, offer you a place to stay if it were realistic.
