I'm in the process of working on a little project here in Lj, and during a little search on Youtube I found some vids about Norway. So if any of you on my flist are curious about Norway, what it looks like and such, go behind the cut for some vids.

Well, I'm in the US and I'd download them if I could ;>) but I'm stuck with dial-up, so I can't look at videos. :'(

I read an article in a magazine today about several towns in Norway. There were photos, too. I especially liked Alesund. It's amazing to think the town burned down in 1904 and was completely rebuilt. It's beautiful. And I like the way the buildings are built almost in the water. O_O

Aww, bummer. I thought you were getting high speed this summer?

Yeah, "bummer" is right. I thought we were going to have a high speed satellite Internet system by now, but hubby is balking at spending the money. He never needs speed like I do for opening photos or downloading videos and music, so he doesn't consider it important. Now if he needed speed, it would be a different story altogether. I'm still hoping that one day he'll give in and we'll get it.

Yes, I'm sure that's true. But my husband never uses his computer or the Internet for fun things. He's all business. And the things he needs for business aren't things that take a long time to open or require speed.

But I'll keep trying to think of something. ;>D
