Date: 2006-09-11 11:41 pm (UTC)I read an article in a magazine today about several towns in Norway. There were photos, too. I especially liked Alesund. It's amazing to think the town burned down in 1904 and was completely rebuilt. It's beautiful. And I like the way the buildings are built almost in the water. O_O

Date: 2006-09-14 05:10 pm (UTC)Yeah, "bummer" is right. I thought we were going to have a high speed satellite Internet system by now, but hubby is balking at spending the money. He never needs speed like I do for opening photos or downloading videos and music, so he doesn't consider it important. Now if he needed speed, it would be a different story altogether. I'm still hoping that one day he'll give in and we'll get it.
