Okay, so I'm not the biggest 'Lost' fan anymore, but this little piece of news might just get me started on season 3.

Sources confirm to me that Nathan Fillion (Buffy, Firefly) has been cast on Lost! He starts filming the show next week in Hawaii, and will guest star in at least two episodes this season, from what I hear.

He will be playing someone from Kate's past. Someone who was VERY close to our beloved Katie -- as in, legally bound and not genetically.

You got it, right? It seems there's much more to Kate's past than we've seen ...

Can't wait.

I'm still curious too, but it's not as urgent as it was before. At this point I feel like I could leave the show till it's finished its run and get caught up then.

Well, the initial plan was three years.
Then that got upped to 5.
Last thing I heard was 7 years, though I doubt they'll be able to keep it going that long if season 2is any indication.
