roguem: (Serenity - River Axe Dead Reavers)
[personal profile] roguem
It only took two days, but I finally found and watched the final episode of season one of "Prison Break". Good stuff, now I just have to get dad to get started on season 2, taped the first episode for him on Friday, and now that I've caught up I'd like to watch it too.
Can I just say how much I loved Abruzzi and the axe? I know, I know, that's crazy. I can't help it, that moment had me cheering.

Am now watching "Rome". Have gotten into it now. Not my fave thing ever, but enjoyable non the less. At least I'll learn something.

Have started to wonder if some of my entries aren't showing up on your flists. Or it's just been a quiet few days.

It's been a little while since my latest episode of 'Norwegian Artist Pimping', so I'll give you another episode.
But first, links to the previous entries: Part 1 )  Part 2 ) Part 3 ) Part 4 ) ( Part 5 ) ( Part 6 ) ( Part 7 ) Part 8 )
And now it's time for another exiting episode:

You finished!
Loved Abruzzi for what he did. :-D
The new season is in my opinion better than the first, but that's just me. Still don't like Bellick, and Mahone is getting on my nerves. You'll understand what I mean when you start watching season 2.
Have fallen off Rome, guess I better start watching again. The Roman Empire was an intersting time. All the different Caesar's and the intrigues.

Yes, yay!
That was so awsome, I though he was just gonna cut the chain, but that was like so much better!
Cool, am very curious about it now. Will have to force dad to sit down sometime today so we can watch it.
As I told [livejournal.com profile] thesuthernangel, I'm comparing Mahone to the Operative in 'Serenity'. He is so sure, he knows, that these people belong behind bars and will do anything to catch them.

Rome didn't have the best time slot, so I totally get why so many people have fallen off.

Okay, no worries. It just seemed to be a bit to quiet lately. But it happens every once in a while.

Haven't watched much of prison break but caught one episode last week I def liked it. Am thinking about continuing to watch it..even though I've missed most of the first season. Only problem is that I seldom watch TV in the evening..always doing other stuff..

Well, the answer then is to get them somewhere else, bittorent or whatever. Or just tape it and watch it when you want to.
I believe your sis has possession of season 1 episodes.

I think there's 10. But the sad thing is that the 1st season might be the only season - HBO hasn't optioned a 2nd season:-( One of the reasons they gave was high production costs.

Okay, then I'm halfway through.
I thought they had already started making the second season...

I do get the reason for shutting it down, it is the most expensive tv-series ever.

I've been meaning to watch Prison Break, but I can't get Joe interested at all. I've watched a few eps of Rome and it's damn good.

Hee, I know what you mean, it's been a bit quiet lately.

Really, both those shows strike me as something guys would find cool. There are always other options though.

Good, it's not just me. I know it happens every once in a while, but this time it seems like everybody decided to quiet down at the same time.

Sounds silly, but between the two of us, I'm the one with the "guy" taste and he's more into sort of "girlish" things/shows/music ;).

*shhh* Keep really quiet... :D

Hehe, not silly at all. I usually prefer the "guy" stuff as well, and know a few boys who prefers the "girlish" shows.

But I won't tell, I promise.

You should really catch it if you get the chance, it's really good.

I kind of lost interest in Grey's Anatomy when I finished season two. The season finale pretty much closed the book on the storylines I cared about.

Oh, I think you'll really enjoy Rome.
I thought it was kind of heavy at first, but got into it rather quickly.
HBO has a tendency to do heavy stuff, but as you said it's often gold.
