I knew it! I knew it! I suspected it after Lucifer was mentioned, and I was so sure of it after 'In The Beginning'!!
I just never really believed Kripke and the gang would have the balls to actually go that way.
But I knew Sam would have to be Lucifer's intended vessel!!!

I liked the episode.
Not quite sure how i really feel about Dean trying to get Castiel laid, but it was funny.
Proud of Sam for fighting the Demon blood, but if the boy doesn't go seek out Dean or Bobby after what was revealed I might have to kick his ass.
I'm not to happy about what Dean said about working alone, but I do kind of get it. Sam isn't that little boy anymore that Dean could take under his wing. Castiel kind of begame a replacement for younger Sam in this episode, and I hope Dean sees that after a while. That they've both grown since that time, and things have to change.

I am enjoying the season so far, am very curious where they're going with this.

I am worried that sooner or later Dean and Sam will just give in and let Lucifer and Michael take over, and the show ends with Michael killing Lucifer, and Dean's body just being so burned out he'll just end up in hospital in a coma or something. That would be damn depressing...

I was a bit underwhelmed by the episode but it had a ton of moments that I loved:

- Sams tattoo!
- Loved the actor who played Raphael, and I hope he comes back
- The use of "Simple Man" in the opening montage, and the montage itself were great.
- That last scene. Oh man, I love Mark P as Lucifer!

I hope it doesn't just end up being Lucifer vs. Michael in the boys bodies. I want the boys themselves to be responsible for whatever actions they take, not too characters who we haven't spent five years invested in. And I want this to be the last season.

I don't want that to happen either, but there was a moment I started being worried that's what will happen.

At first I wasn't to thrilled by the thought that this would be the last season, but now I'm kind of hoping they'll finish this season too.

I'm still debating over whether or not to go to "Memorabilia" in November. Its a long way just to go for the day, but I would really like to meet Rob Benedict and Mark Pellegrino.

I'm actually a bit annoyed about the whole sam is lucifer's vessel thing. I want Mark Pellegrino to be Lucifer, dammit! I dunno, maybe Michael also has a backup vessel that he can use, y'think?

I agree, but I also want to see more of Nick, and I think that this is the only way that that will happen (although Nick will probably be left a comatose state when Lucifer vacates if Raphael's vessel is anything to go by).

I was actually wondering, does each angel only have one vessel that they can use? For instance, Jimmy with Castiel? Are they pre-destined to be twinned with that angel, or can the angel possess anyone who has the ability to be a vessel in their blood?

I think they can probably possess anyone who is capable. I think the twinning thing isn't so much a matter of there being one perfect vessel for each angel. I think it's more a matter of fate and destiny etc. Like basically Dean is "perfect" because of his skills, his knowledge, etc. Sam is "perfect" because of as you said the demon blood, etc and also his skills, knowledge, and so forth. In other words, the perfectness is a matter of circumstance, something that all past actions and choices have inevitably brought them to so that right here right now, they are the perfect vessel for that angel. Not because of some divine connection between vessel and angel. Does that make sense?

Yeah, it makes sense. I keep wondering though, because didn't Cas say something about the person that started the seals opening is the only one that can end it? So does that mean that whoever had opened the first seal would be destined to be Michaels vessel? Or did he just mean that because Dean opened the first seal he is the only one that could have stopped Sam from opening the last seal, and it turns out that in that he failed?

I don't want Nick to be comatose either. I want him to have a happy ending but I know it won't happen. :-(

He also didn't appear in my dreams last night, and taht makes me cry inside. :*-(

Yeah but why would Michael's vessel have to be the guy who gave it up in Hell? Surely that means his vessel is a loser! I don't think that tracks. Frankly I think they're just making up the prophecies as they go along, to fit whatever the needs are.

From what I understood in the season opener Dean is the only vessel that will give Michael the power he needs to defeat Lucifer. I dunno, since he's the sword and everything.

I guess the same really goes for Sam, maybe Lucifer will get all his power if Sam says yes. I dunno...
