Quick question
Sep. 27th, 2006 12:34 pmI'm writing a fic. Like my other attempts it will probably never see the light of day, but got inspired and decided to give it a go.
Anyway, I have a question. How long would someone have to be in a coma for them not to be able to move their arms when they woke up? I've seen different shows where it only takes a week, while in other shows they jump out of bed after a year in a coma.
Question two is the same, but in relation to surgery. How invasive or serious would the surgery have to be for someone not to be able to move more than maybe tehir neck and fingers when they wake up.
When I was a kid and had my tonsils out I was pretty weak for a long while, actually longer than was normal, so I dunno.
Will continue doing my own research, but if any of you have any idea, or would just like to speculate, please do.
