I should be working on my essay right now... hmm, I wonder how many of my entreis have begun like that. Heh. 
Today it's 1 month, 1 week and 1 day until I go back home, yay.

claireweasley has got me hooked on 'Whose Line is it Anyway', but I can only see it on YouTube, so I'm running out of clips. *cries*

I was just on the MTV website and stumbeled over to the nominees for the MTV Movie Awards. I have to say I'm really dissapointed. How could they overlook 'Serenity'??? It hasn't got one nomination, and how did Elijah Wood not get a nomination for 'Sin City'? Seriously!?! He was the most awesome baddie! And the fight between Kevin and Marv isn't nominated either. *shakes head*

Totally lost the will to see it this year, the only thing that could save it is if Jensen and Jared are hosting it. ;p

We all complained about it (your comments at the bottom of THIS STORY and my RANT HERE), but it was more than obvious that despite the crappy bare-bones SIN CITY DVD that was released a couple of weeks ago, a jam-packed "real" version would be coming out sooner than later, and believe it or not...it's already here! Thanks to the dudes over at DVDAnswers.com for scooping this baby. The date: December 13, 2005! (just in time for Christmas). The price: $39.99. Why so high? The 2-disc RECUT & EXTENDED version of the film will also include a complete SIN CITY graphic novel (based on the first story "The Hard Goodbye"). The discs will also include:

• The 147-minute extended cut
• A commentary with director Robert Rodriguez & Frank Miller

Well, I guess we all expected the first edition of the DVD to rock as much as this one, but I suppose "show business" is called just that because they have to make money first, so better late than never, right? Hurray! Am so pleased by this, as I loved the movie, and now that there is an extended cut coming, I'm even more jazzed about it. Must peruse the comics and see what the new scenes might be, I'd like the Kevin/Marv fight to be a bit extended, but I doubt that'll happen. Hehe.

Now let's rejoice people and start the countdown till december 13th! :D
