Spoiler-free.
Hugh Jackman is going to have a role in a Untitled Woody Allen Fall Project 2006 , and guess where they're shooting? London, England, UK!!! Hopefully they'll still be there in a month when I'm going over for the autum semester. AH! Or at least, hopefully Hugh Jackman will still be there. Just have to find out where they're shooting!
I don't like Woody Allen very much, but it's Hugh Jackman, so I'm going to have to check out the movie when it's released.
( Possible Spoiler about Hugh's character )
He's working those reporter skills after all...
Hugh didn't get that degree in journalism for nothing! - as evidenced by the September issue of Interview magazine (out now), he's got an excellent interviewing manner. HJ sits down with Fountain co-star Rachel Weisz for the cover feature, and it's a great read. (There are also some new kibbles of info, so consider that your spoiler warning, folks!)
Heads up for your local comics shop!
A reminder that Hugh as Wolverine is on the cover of the latest Wizard magazine; the issue includes an interview with Marvel's Avi Arad and X3/Wolverine spin-off coverage. Also, might be a good time to reserve your copy of The Fountain graphic novel from DC; a JL contributor tells us their local comics dealer has been told that distributors are selling out of the volume before it has even hit the shelves!

"Jackman's Landing" recently landed a pretty cool looking pic from Darren Aronofsky's upcoming THE FOUNTAIN starring Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz. In it, Jackman tries to find the secret to immortality in the past, present and future. He also gets it on with Weisz in the past, present and future. Lucky bastard! Just having her in the present wasn't enough for him. He just had to have her in the past and future too! Anyway, the movie doesn't have a release date yet but hopefully it'll be released later this year. Click on Jackman's neck veins for the full and higher res version of the pic.

News and images from Fountain land!
...and at left we get our first glimpse at the past incarnation of Hugh in The Fountain, as his Spanish conquistador is attacked by a Mayan mob; the photo comes courtesy of Look Magazine, and you can see it in all its glory (although we flipped it for the thumbnail - get ready to turn your heads upside-down :-) ) in JL's The Fountain gallery. In other news on the film, visit this link for an article in French about the filming of a sequence in Montreal plus a very, very small photo of Hugh. (Rough translation; this pool location was used to simulate weightlessness - we assume for the future sequences in the film.)
