Supernatural – 207 - The Usual Suspects
Nov. 25th, 2006 05:52 pmThe DaVinci Code
May. 20th, 2006 11:49 am
Director: Ron Howard
Writer: Akiva Goldsman
Producers: Brian Grazer, John Calley
Actors:
Tom Hanks as Robert
Audrey Tatou as Sophie
Ian McKellen as Leigh
Genre: Thriller
Plot: A symbologist is called into France’s Louvre museum when a man there is discovered dead with symbols cut all over himself. A cute cop (no, not Jean Reno, although he’s pretty cute himself) joins him on his trek to find the meaning behind it all, and to figure out why Tom Hanks’ hair looks so weird here. Oh yeah, religion is involved in the film’s mystery and so is history and a whole bunch of other stuff…that don’t interest me. Da Vinci coding ensues.

Thought it was my turn to write a review of the latest 'Supernatural' episode. It contains pictures and quotes, so you could safely say it has spoilers.
Btw, this is not gonna be dial up friendly, at all...
Okay, had to code this some way, regular writing is more in recap style, italics are my views on it, and bold is plotpoints. Hope that helps. ;)
Holy crap, I've been working on this thing for about 5-6 hours... *shakes head* This fandom so totally owns me.

Finished reading the DaVinci Code yesterday.
Seriously? It isn't that good. It took me about 2 months to read! I see how it can be a fun movie, but it didn't keep me very engaged when I was reading it... it is a kind of 'National Treasure' or 'Sahara' kind of adventure. I'm curious about the film, but the book did not answer to all the hype, not for me anyway.
Meh...

I AM GOING HOME TOMORROW!!!

I AM GOING HOME TOMORROW!!!
Ehem... now that I've got that out of my system. :)
Was an incredibly nice day outside, that alone merits a post. I left the house bundled up expecting the same cold as the last few days, had to open my coat before I got to the bus stop. By the time I left school at about 1400, I'd ditched it completely and even felt a tad warm in my top. Just lovely weather, I hope it keeps. :)
A guy here at the house, Jan Erik, is going to audition for the DaVinci Code film tomorrow, for the baddie part. Would be soooo cool if he got it. Heh, I haven't read the books, so I don't know if he fits the part, but I wish him well. He's auditioning for Tom Hanks! So cool!
Have packed everything and am really ready to get my butt back home. Will have to write a script while I'm home, but I think that'll be fine. Just have to send a final treatment to my teacher first. Finished my essay yesterday, so wasn't to keen on diving into another writing project just yet... give me a few days. :) I AM GOING HOME TOMORROW!!! Yay. Hmmm, am actually tired, think I'll settle in with my book. Good night folks!
