Tv, dreams and birthdays.
Sep. 20th, 2006 07:30 pmSorry about my blow up earlier, it was in no way directed at you guys. You've all been good with keeping things under wraps, and if I've seen any spoilers in your LJs it's not your fault.
My rant was directed at the comms, and people posting there without real warnings, which resulted in me knowing things I didn't want to know. Seriously... I don't even want to know what color socks they'll be weaing in an episode until I see it myself.
Had a weird day. Couldn't sleep all night, kept having dreams where I was in serious pain, so I kept waking up because of it, this happened all night. And was very annoying. I'm talking serious pain her, like my body had been contorted in some way it just couldn't handle.
When I woke up I was actually naseous because of the pain from my dreams, how weird is that?
Later in the day, while at work, my back started aching, for no reason really. It's still bugging me. I have no idea why it should be aching as I haven't really done anything that would affect my back. My only conclusion is that I must have slept in a really weir position or something when I actually did sleep, and that's why all this happened.
It's my dad's birthday today. :D *throws confetti*
Woke up this morning and mom and I made breakfast for him. He was very happy about the presents, he got 4 shirts, 1 sweater, 2 ties and 500zl (polish currency) that he can use in Poland.
We celebrated by going to a chinese restaurant for dinner. People have been calling him all day.
Think he's happy about the day, now he's enjoying himself watching a football (soccer) game on TV.
He's going to celebrate on Saturday, if I'm not mistaken.
Oh, btw, to my Norwegian friends. Have you seen the new commercial for IFA? The singing cop? I know that guy, well... I knew him. He used to live at the house in London. He was there during my second year. And that girl on the bike in the 'turn around' youghurt commercial lived there my first two years.
Funny to see people I've known or know on TV.

Date: 2006-09-21 12:13 am (UTC)i get a little irritated too when people don't lj-cut their entries about a new season, a new episode, or who won what...i found out who won Rockstar Supernova when i was reading my lj and i was so shocked and surprised cuz i didn't see it coming and obviously everything is delayed here because of the time difference. and i hated the one who won so that just irritated me more haha

Date: 2006-09-21 01:36 pm (UTC)That sounds bad about your nightmares and waking up feeling sick. Maybe you were in pain while you slept and your body was trying to tell you that by giving you nightmares about it? Whatever it was I hope it all goes away for you *big hugs*
I don't blame you for being annoyed about spoilers, my sister is bad like that, she'll start to tell me a spoiler and I'll say "Don't tell me, I want to see it myself" and she'll just go and tell me anyway. I missed the whole first season of 24 and was waiting for it to come out on dvd so I could watch it and then she blew it for me...a whole SEASON! *grrrrrrrrrrr*
That's really cool about your friends being on telly :D You soon!!!!! :D

Date: 2006-09-21 04:04 pm (UTC)I gave my dad two shirts this year... usually I give him tools or CDs. It's not really easy finding stuff for men is it?
Pretty sure I slept funny, back is almost fine again now. :)

Date: 2006-09-21 04:29 pm (UTC)However, the less I'm comitted to a show, the less I mind spoilers.
Supernatural is my top show, so I want to know nothing.

Date: 2006-09-21 04:41 pm (UTC)Big spoilers like who won a relity show, or who dies in an episode of a show sucks. But I hate spoilers in general, it's not that hard to make an lj cut and write 'spoiler'.

Date: 2006-09-21 04:47 pm (UTC)And for some reason people can't seem to understand the the rest of the world won't start the same season as them until up to 6 months, maybe even a year after it's shown in America. Spoilers are spoilers.

Date: 2006-09-21 04:49 pm (UTC)No? I haven't seen it in a few days either. The last one he was in was over in a week.

Date: 2006-09-21 04:59 pm (UTC)Yeah, I think that was it, really. Back is almost fine now, no worries. :)
Oh, I would have been furious if someone blew a whole season for me. I've never watched 24, but already know to much to want to see it, as I feel the stuff I know is kind of big.
I won't even tell people spoilers if they ask me.
Was funny to see. Haven't seen any of them for well over a year, but nice to see they're doing well. :)
Hehe, I've actually applied for a job to host a TV show, even though I'd rather stay behind the camera.

Date: 2006-09-22 07:13 am (UTC)Yeah I don't like telling spoilers either, I always say "are you sure you want to know? REALLY SURE???" once you know something you can't forget it and it can ruin a lot. My brother and sister are terrible, they always have to know everything :/
Wow you would be fantastic as a tv show host!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you get the job!!!!!!! I want to see Eva on tv!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Date: 2006-09-23 12:16 pm (UTC)Spoilers ruin a lot. Thing is when I know something that's going to happen in a show I keep waiting for it to happen while I'm watching and that distracts from what's really going on.
Thank you. Am keeping my fingers crossed, am thinking moving to Oslo could be a good thing after all.

Date: 2006-09-23 12:25 pm (UTC)My sentiments exactly. How much fun is it to watch something new when you already know everything?
Just wish people would understand that.
