Movie review: Elizabethtown

I suspect most of you have either seen Elizabethtown, or let it pass without watching it. I saw it over 3 weeks ago, so the review is a bit late... but anyhoo...

With help from Theater Hopper and beluga I bring you my review

First I'll send you to beluga 's post about the movie, because I agree with every single thing she says. (In Here).

Now, it's not all bad. The soundtrack was really good, and they had some cute scenes, but about halfway through the film i was desperatly looking for a fast forward button.

The majority of people I talked to hated it, but there are exeptions, so feel free to see this movie for yourself and make up your own mind, but don't say you weren't warned.

Hehe, I remember watching the first trailer for the first trailer, thinking it actually looked like he did a fair job in this. i was so wrong. His american accent was horrible.

It's an ok movie, it's just the more I think about it, the more it annoys me. There are so many plot holes and stuff that didn't have to be there.

Best thing was the soundtrack, but I've come to expect that of Cameron.

Ah, so I'm guessing I shouldn't watch Elizabethtown then. I was actually contemplating seeing it, if only cause the two main characters are teh pretty.

Well, if you've liked Cameron's previous stuff like Jerry Maguire , Almost Famous or Vanilla Sky, you might want to give it a chance.

I loved Almost Famous, but hated Jerry Maguire, and by judging by the reviews of Vanilla Sky I'm staing away from that one.

I'm not a big Bloom fan either, personally think he's a horrible actor, but you decide if you wanna see it.

I'm inclined to agree with you on this. I also don't think he's as handsome as the gah-gah fans seem to think he is. He's a nice guy, but that's the best thing I can say about him. *shrugs shoulders*

I don't get it at all to be honest, don't find him attractive.
