God, everything but romantic comedies. It's sad, but they make my stomach swirl. X_x Although, if he were to be in one, I'd probably sacrifice myself! All for a good cause. And on-screen Wincest, damn it!

I wasn't able to choose between Alec and Dean. Dean is more complex and better written, but Alec...wow I still think he's one of the best tv show characters so far. So again I can't choose, the moment I'd say Alec something would make me think "but Dean" and vice versa...awww damn you Jensen!
Oh and no way I want to see him in a romantic comedy!

Yeah, for some odd reason I have no desire to see him swooning over some chick that is annoying but supposedly perfect for him. ;-P

Come on! If you've seen and loved DA, you've got to say Alec. He had that can-pull-off-the-most-obnoxious-behavior-cause-he's-so-freakin'-adorable PLUS he had a deep dark brooding background (ala The Berrisford Agenda and Hello, Goodbye). I do love Dean but when Dean's hitting on chicks I'm rolling my eyes; whereas when Alec was, I was sporting this ridiculous grin. Jensen's versatility is incredible. What are on paper very similiar characters, on screen become two very seperate individuals.

Jensen should do a drama to show his potential. We've seen with Dean that the boy can pull anything and do an amazing job. His facial expressions are perfect!

Totally. He's such an amazing actor, it's amazing that he hasn't done more work and gotten more offers. He's actually one of the few good versitale actors out there.

I would love to see Jensen in a romantic comedy, if I was the only one to see it and just to indulge myself.

BUT!

I picked adventure, honestly a romantic comedy is not something his career really needs, depending on where he wants it to go. Give him a movie that both men and women will enjoy.

I say he plays Harrion Fords son in the next Indiana Jones movie!!

lol, there's not TOO many differences between his roles on Dark Angel and Supernatual so it was kind of a hard pick on those ones.



He should stay away from horror movies... I really didn't like Devour too much... but could have just been the not liking the actual movie and might not have anything to do with him.

Not to many, but he plays them both so well. :)

Devour was a stinker, but Jensen had said in an interview that when he signed on the scipt was completely different, and that they kept rewriting it all the time during shooting. That's always a big warining sign.
I liked him in Devour, he did a good job, but the movie wasn't any good.

Omg! Remy's brunette, and darker than Jensen. Jensen would make a perfect Alex Summers, who is blonde and would totally fit the guy better.

I'd vote for Ian Somerhalder or Josh Holloway for Remy over Jensen any day.

you have NO IDEA how hard this was, why where there no multiple answers available? *pout*

I'm like one of two or something who has Ben as my favorite Jensen character,
you can only imagine how hard it was to get a grip around that kind of character, and he pulled it off flawlessly then, and most recently in Skin where there was a clear difference between the two in the way he moved portraying them and even his VOICE was different!

He really is a good actor, and with his range I think he could shine in something like the new Sin City movie, since the mood of the first one changed constantly and you always got a clear view of the actors faces (with the huge audience it's going to make that can't be bad)


and to Kripke I know you're a bit unsure about this whole on-screen wincest thing, but A HUG PLEASE, it's not to much to ask for!!!

(and for the wincest thing, take it in baby steps, we won't go anywhere though we WILL be pissed if you kill the Metallicar...that is all)

Ben is not my favorite Jensen character (that would be Alec) but he is Jensen's best acted role. How many people can make a psycho-killer sympathetic? Protraying Ben with both a dominating power, drive & strength and as a broken, vulnerable individual is extremely challenging and he pulled it off! I have never fangirled over Ben (because he scares me but I secretly wish I could save him). However, it was the first time I was impressed with Jensen. I had only seen him on Smallville before that in which he was swallowed up in the vortex that is Lana.

Oh, yeah. I love Jensen's subtle acting. ;-P He makes every character different, even if there are similiarities on paper.

Try as I might I couldnt choose my fave JA character! Was between Dean (kinda obvious huh?), Alec and more recently a newfound love for Mr X5-493, Ben.

I'll admit that I am a Wincest shipper BUT I don't think, when it comes to the crunch, that I'd want to see it acted on TV in any way. That's part of the motivation for me - mystique, mystery, its...AU I guess. Plus, who says a Kripke vision of Wincest (although he is a god now) would be better than the one conjured up in shippers' heads? =P Leave it to the imagination for the most part I say, but c'mon...do need to see a lil Winchester hug! It's not much to ask, surely?! [/mini rant]
Future role...am an X-Men fan so wouldn't mind summat like that or some Sin City-ness...but lets face it, the fangirl in all of us would think as long as he's in it, we'll watch it lol.
I vote NO on the rom-com side of things. Ick. And usually I'm quite the sucker for a happy film/ending but...nah. With him...the thought just doesnt sit right with me. I'd say go back down on the sci-fi route or summat action-y like MI (waaaay better than Tom Cruise!) or Matrix-y stylee. Summat where he can kick ass!
As for the guy himself, me and my best mate have discussed this quite a bit. He is an amazing performer and hopefully in the following years to come he'll properly hit the big time 'cos he sure as hell deserves it! =] <3

It's hard, kind of why I decided against multiple choice, wanted to see what people would choose if they really had to.
Ben is awesome, I love that character.

I'm not a big fan of Winchest myself. All I want from them is a hug on screen. It's all I want.

I love both X-Men and Sin City, so would love to see him in both. I know he would be great in it. But then again like you said, as long as he's in it I'm gonna watch it. I watched devour for him, so..

I don't want him to do a rom-com either, but that's more because I don't like the genre than anything else. He should def do action, thrilles, dramas and such. Give him a role where he can really show his range. He needs to be fully discovered by Hollywood soon... or maybe not because then Supernatural might not run for many more seasons... *is selfish*

I *need* Jensen in a tight outfit so he *must* play a superhero. I picked Gambit cos y'know it's my fave:-)
I saw some silly comment in here about him being too short for a superhero-outfit and I had I almost laughed myself to death. Hehe, damn that Jared for making people believe Jensen is nothing but 5'10 or something:-p

Anyways. I want him in an action movie, but I'd also love a costume-drama.. Actually. I'd love to see him in anything. As long as he's on screen, I'm happy:-D

I think Jensen could totally be Superman. He's got the look and I'm sure he could do a better job than what I've heard about this new Superman movie that's coming out.
As for genre, I don't care, I'd see him in pretty much anything. Action is obvious, but I think a drama would be good too, because you know he would act the hell out of it.

I've heard bad things about the movie too, and the trailer I saw looked kind of goofy, so it doesn't look to good.
I'd love to see him in anything too, except a romantic comedy, but that's more because I don't like the genre very much than any other reason.
