Yes you are right, he always adds something personal (maybe his passion for his work) when he plays.
OH just let me say that after Devil's trap, if I should choose between Alec and Dean again I would go for Dean this time....I feel guilty: Alec, blame the writers because they didn't give you much chance to show us enough how amazing you are!

It's a damn shame that Dark Angel got cancelled, but I guess then we wouldn't have Jensen as Dean, so...

Yes we wouldn't have Dean and the shame is that they wouldn't have centered the show on Alec. I always thought about DA like the show of the "wasted chances". A great potential, a great idea not really developed like they might have done.
Oh well we have (and I hope we will have for long time!) Dean..so...it's ok!

True, it is nice to have show more centered on Jensen's character. ;)
DA was truly full of wasted chances, I truly believe it could have reached the same kind of popularity as Buffy if alowed to continue.

Now I just hope they see what they have with Supernatural and let it run for a long while!
