The story of a bored individual...

We've been filming toady, am still in school. We have one more scene to shoot before we finish. The big fight scene has been postphoned until after easter, but I kind of knew that would happen. No worries, we'll get it done.
So, yeah, am just killing some time now until the final shot of the day, and I can head back and get everything ready for my trip. I'm basically done, it's just getting some stuff in to storage.
Tomorrow at this time I'll be in Poland... probably having a nap after traveling for most of the night. Have to get up at 3 or 4 in the morning. Will be okay, I'm just looking forward to finally getting my vacation.
Don't really have any schoolwork to do during easterbreak, but am going to start on an essay and do some research, just so I don't have to start all that when I get back. Make it a bit easier on myself.

Feel like doing a picspam one of these days... any requests?

Thought I'd write a little bit about how the filming went.



So that's the exiting world of movie making. Marie thought it was really cool, and I was worried she and her friends would be bored. Hehe.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Just gotten back and ready to go to bed. Starting early tomorrow. We actually did all we were supposed to do today, despite 1 1/2 hour of dead time. Am pleased, will write more when I get back tomorrow.

We're shooting this evening. 18:00-22:00.
I really hope everything works out today, I'd really like to get something done, actually have a day of shooting. I'm not looking forward to having to work so late, but it's needed, and if it means we'll finally get something I'm happy to do it.

Have started packing a little bit, am looking so insanely forward to my vacation now, you have no idea. 9 days to go and I'm outta here!
Okay, I'll stop whining and be a brave soldier. ;)

It didn't go to well today, at all. 
First note, we were supposed to be done at 22:00, it is now 20:28, and I've been home for at least 30 minutes, if not more.

Day starts out OK, I meet the rest of the group, we get our equipment, and head for our location. On the way Tyrone learns that our main actor has hurt his foot and is at the doctor's, ergo, we can't really do much today. After some discussion we shoot one scene with the other guy at the location, and work out some issues with lighting.
Tyrone, who's our director has to leave us, because he's campaigning to be campus president next year! I mean, what the fuck???? Boy needs to sort out his priorities. By this time our lead is back home, so we head over to his house to shoot what we can, whithout our director. Not really knowing what Tyrone wants here, we just took a chance and shoot what we thought he'd want.
There wasn't much more we could do today so I was on a bus back at 19:00

It's crazy, we've now lost two days. Yesterday's has been moved to monday. The big scene today has been moved to next friday. That Friday is my last day over here when I have to sort out last minute things, plus I have to get up at like 03:00 that night to grab a cab to the airport. Wo-ho! 

I know delays are common, and I'm not blaming the guy for hurting his leg. What annoys me is yesterday and that Tyrone can seem to keep his priorites straight. Had I known he was going to do this stuff I would never have joined his group. I feel sorry for Louisa too, who's our producer, she's working so hard to get everything to fit, and then shit like this happens.

Have tomorrow off, will probably do me good.
Definetly packing what I can tomorrow, by the looks of it, none of my days off next week are safe.

Gotta run to school in a couple of hours, we finally start shooting today. Am a tiny bit nervous, but that's more linked to getting back here when we're done than the actual shoot. Buses get kind of sucky the later in the evening it gets.
Anyway, looking forward to getting today in the can. Got tomorrow off, so I think I'll get started on some packing.

I was actually ready to start shooting tomorrow. I think it's the first time that I don't have this sickening feeling the day before we start shooting something, and then I get this message:
"Not filming tomorrow had to move it to next monday because there is a problem with using the hall so will start on tuesday half two at...."

More waiting... I just want to get this done now.
They couldn't have checked the availabillity of the hall earlier? I mean, seriously! We're already late with getting started!
