Knew I should have stayed in bed...

This has been a rather crappy day.
I decided to go to work this morning, as I was feeling okay. Last week I learned that they had parking for employees, so then I could drive in myself, and not have my parents do it. When i get there the gate to drive in to the parking area is narrow as hell. And of course I manage to put a dent in the car. The car we'd just spendt lots of money on in Poland to get fixed! When I finally get to the parking area, there are no free spaces, there are spaces for Noroff, but they all have names attached. Which makes the whole thing even more frustrating. At this point I'm really tempted just to drive back home, but I end up paying for parking and making my way to the classroom. There the teacher of the day seems very confused and tells me I'm not needed and says I can go home.
Seriously, just crap.
My mom was seriously pissed, she didn't yell, but it's easy to tell. My dad on the other hand put it down to the 'shit happens' file.
In other news my parents want to sell the house, I honestly hate the idea, but understand why they want to move. Personally I'd hoped that the next time I moved it would be to my own place, not following them again, but we'll see. This is a big house, and it takes a lot of energy to keep clean.
On the other hand, as I'm planning on trying to get my own place sometime next year I can leave most of my stuff in boxes until I actually manage to move.

I'm hoping too, we went to look at two flats today, but both were a bust and I was calmed down quite a lot when they said that they were going to take a long while, maybe even well over a year. This is the last move they want to do, so they want the perfect place. :)

Date: 2006-09-13 09:07 am (UTC)Never fun, but I'm calmed down a bit now. They want the perfect place, and with regards to what's out there now it might take a while. Hopefully I'll move out before they do.

Date: 2006-09-12 09:13 pm (UTC)Do your parents want a smaller house?

Date: 2006-09-13 09:16 am (UTC)They want a flat, and a smaller living space. Our hose now is rather big, and takes a lot of effort to keep clean.

Date: 2006-09-14 04:32 pm (UTC)I get along fine with my parents, but after 3 years in London I'm feeling the need to get my own place and get some independence.
Oh man...

Date: 2006-09-13 07:16 am (UTC)My mum's moving house too, interstate, so I have to go as well even though I don't want to (I'm not well enough to live on my own at the moment) so I know how you feel, it's depressing :/
I'm glad the damage was to the car and not you, and I hope it's not too hard to fix.
In the meantime, this might make you feel a little better ;)

Date: 2006-09-13 09:23 am (UTC)Not fun is it? am a little hopeful now, because dad wants to wait and my mom wants to find the perfect place, so this search might take a while.
Thank you, it will probably be expensive to fix, but my parents want to have a car while tehy're in Poland, so if they take mine we can get it fixed cheaper.
Thank you so much. You are way to nice to me, you know that? *big hugs*
