Major review post, part 2
Jun. 24th, 2007 12:50 amCan't blame him, that's pretty much how we felt when we wtepped into this house for the first time.
We'll be moving out sometime in the middle of January. So at least I'll get a final christmas here, very pleased about that.
I need new icons... think I'll delete all the ones I have and start fresh.

After the movie we just sat talking, was very nice. We watched two episodes of "Angel" I wanted to show her Joss Whedon as Numfar, but we ended up watching two eps; "Through the Looking Glass" & "There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb". Was fun. I love Numfar and his dance, so brilliant.

Airports and houses
Oct. 5th, 2006 11:03 amMy aunt left yesterday morning. We drove her to the airport and helped her check in. And then she left. This week just passed way to quickly. We're pestering her about coming up and joining us for christmas, so am hoping that will happen.
We had a showing of the house yesterday afternoon as well. My parents and I left the house while it was going on and left it to the real estate guy. When we got back we were met by some pleasant news, we'd already gotten a bid. It was for our asking price, but we decided to wait until the deadline, which is today at 12 a.m. to give a final answer in case there would be some other bids. There were two couples who came after the official showing as well, so they have the details as well. There's a woman coming now, to have a look as well. The doorbell just rang, so I'm guessing that's her. She doesn't have long if she wants to put in a bid... 45 minutes.
Y'all know I'm not crazy about the whole moving idea, but this still is kind of exiting. Seing how much well get for the house and how many people are interested. There were quite a few interested yesterday, but after the first bid, most of them have pulled out. There is another guy who got the papers though, so if he really wants to put in a bid, we should hear something soon.
I do hope we'll get another bid though, it is a very nice house. Plus it would be great for my parents, that way they know what they can look for if that flat we found doesn't happen.
I don't really have much else to tell at the moment. Kind of caught up in the whole sale thing.
They were just up here looking, I don't know, they didn't seem that entusiastic, but they might just been holding on to their poker faces.
I'll spam you with some more Norwegian artists:

Knew I should have stayed in bed...
Sep. 12th, 2006 12:31 pmI decided to go to work this morning, as I was feeling okay. Last week I learned that they had parking for employees, so then I could drive in myself, and not have my parents do it. When i get there the gate to drive in to the parking area is narrow as hell. And of course I manage to put a dent in the car. The car we'd just spendt lots of money on in Poland to get fixed! When I finally get to the parking area, there are no free spaces, there are spaces for Noroff, but they all have names attached. Which makes the whole thing even more frustrating. At this point I'm really tempted just to drive back home, but I end up paying for parking and making my way to the classroom. There the teacher of the day seems very confused and tells me I'm not needed and says I can go home.
Seriously, just crap.
My mom was seriously pissed, she didn't yell, but it's easy to tell. My dad on the other hand put it down to the 'shit happens' file.
In other news my parents want to sell the house, I honestly hate the idea, but understand why they want to move. Personally I'd hoped that the next time I moved it would be to my own place, not following them again, but we'll see. This is a big house, and it takes a lot of energy to keep clean.
On the other hand, as I'm planning on trying to get my own place sometime next year I can leave most of my stuff in boxes until I actually manage to move.

Am back in London
Nov. 15th, 2004 05:26 pmHad problems getting up this morning, was so tired, but managed to drag myself off to school. Got there a little before nine, nobody was in the screening hall, wondered if I'd missed something. People eventually came, then we waited an hour for the video-girl to find the video and turn it on. We suffered through "Tetsuo: The Iron Man". Then we waited for 30 mins, to get the news that our lecturer was sick, and that this subject would be striken from the plan, and that we could go home.
So I went back to the house, got some off my stuff out of storage and had a nap.
Having serious problems with my laptop, am in safetymode right now. Seems it's been infected with some virus, and My programme can't seem to kill it. When I went in search for the infected file, I couldn't find it. Frustrating!
A little over a month I'm back home. Yay! ;P

I'm alive!
Apr. 28th, 2004 09:55 pmThe Internet connection hasn't been available here until this evening, pure torture. ;P
Got in just fine on Monday evening, the plane rides went fine. Only bad thing was that my coke-bottle had leaked in my backpack, luckily nothing inside got seriously wet.
Yesterday I did some shopping an unpacking. Tried to work a little on my essay, but am finding it hard to start. Ended up watching "C.S.I." and "Law and Order".
Today was my first day back at school, went ok, actually found the topic interesting. :)
Afterwards I went into Tottenham court road, Oxford circus, Piccadilly circus and Mable arch. Went looking for someone to unlock my new cell phone, and my mum's as well. Came across a DVD shop, got "Apollo 13", "The Mexican" and "A Midsummernight's Dream" for £18. Pretty happy. When I had almost given up I finally found someone to unlock the phones. Had to wait an hour for mum's phone.
Staying in this evening, working on my essay. :)
