The picture of Pyro makes me happy, looks like Ratner is keeping a few things from the previous films, and that little thing somehow means a lot. :)

I think it's a fire thing on his hand.
In the comic he has a tank on his back with tubes going to his hands, so I'm betting it's a variation on that idea.
