Oh, how we’ve been looking forward to and dreading this, so many questions to have answered, yet by the end we’d be in for over 4 months of waiting for the next dose of Supernatural!

We had a lovely christmas yesterday. They day started with stuff to do, but the evening was peaceful and quiet.

I had barely gotten out of bed when [livejournal.com profile] beluga knocked on the door. We drove up to Isen to deliver her christmas presents. Then I drove [livejournal.com profile] beluga home, though I should be nice, since it was friggin' cold outside, and the bus takes ages.

When I got back home I quickly ate breakfast, then helped my dad in the kitchen. When my parents had their afternoon nap, I grabbed the chance to keep one of my traditions alive; watching a silly/stupid/bad movie. I put "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" in the VCR and started watching, but by the time they got to the archery contest I was fast asleep. Guess the last couple of days finally caught up with me. I woke up again just to see Patrick Stewart in the credits.

After that I had more chores to do, but that was ok. I just took it easy, and thing got done. Eventually we could finally sit down and enjoy our christmas dinner. It was lovely, i've been dreaming of that food for months now.
After supper it was time for presents. I was very happy this year. ;) My parents were pleased with what I got them.
Some of the things I got:
* Printer for my laptop.
* Adidas watch.
* "Bowling for Columbine" DVD.
* Candlesticks.
* A nice sweater.
* Light for my movie-camera.
* "X2" collage.
* Evanessence CD
* "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" picture.
* Necklace, ear-rings, ring and bracelet.
* A pack of "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" trading cards.
* ect ect ect

Am very happy, and nothing will be traded. I only have to get the watch tightened.

Camelia and I + to mates went to the cinema yesterday and watched "Master and Commander". I didn't expect anything from this movie, and I don't like Russel Crowe, but went to see it anyway. God, that movie was booooooring. First of I knew what was going to happen before it did, except one or two things with the doctor. When the movie was over, I was like; "That's it!?! That's what the critics have been raving about!?!" I was pleased to find out that I wasn't the only person who felt this way. Camelia and our two mates were bored as well, and Camelia loves every movie! I know Lily and Isen liked it. I'm happy that at least they enjoyed it, but I was seriously bored. The fight sequences were short and poorly co-ordinated. I'm starting to wonder if we saw the same movie as everyone else? Ah, well. Each to his own, I guess. But I must say that I prefer both "Sharpe" and "Hornblower" if we're going to rate stories based on books based on the Napoleonic wars. (Probably not the correct term, but I don't care.) The only thing I cared about in this movie was the relationship between the doctor and the little boy who had his arm cut off.

Last weekend Camelia and I saw "Timeline". It was entertaining, but I imagine the book was much better. For me, it was mainly ruined by the horrible acting of Frances O'Connor, everytime she was on screen I was cringing, because she was so terrible. What held my interest in this movie was the storyline with Gerard Butler and Anna Friel. The rest I didn't really bother with. It was an enjoyable movie for what it was, but there's no question that it could have been done sooo much better.

In conclusion, if you're gonna watch these movies, wait until they come out on video or on the telly.

Hey!

I'm just a little bored, so I thought I'd update my journal.

Had a trip in to Piccadilly Circus today, didn't really have much else to do. Spent a couple of hours just walking around. Went to the Odeon to ask when they would start sales of "Return of the King" tickets, the woman seemed a bit surprised, but the answer was sometime in November. Weird, they're already selling them back home in Norway, people we're in line weeks before sales started... doens't seem like such a big thing for the British. Weird.
After wards I just walked around for a bit. Ended up in a movie store I really like, they have all sorts of crazy things there. Anyway, noticed that a book I've been wanting had been set down from 30£ to 20£. I didn't buy it, yet. I'll have a look at my budget, but I'll probably go back and buy it soon.
They're having some kind of film festival in town now, would be ideal for me, but I'm not in the mood. Funny thing is when I had a look at the program I saw that they're showing "Buddy". It's a Norwegian film, very nice film actually, very good to be Norwegian. Guess the Norwegian film industry is getting better. :)

I'm thinking about going out again later today, but to another part of London, gotta see what I'm in the mood for. I'm not really in the mood to have Halloween people running around me right now.

I taped "Ring" last night, the Japanese, good, version, not that American crap. They're showing the second one tonight, haven't seen it, so I'm gonna tape it. Ok, the American version wasn't pure crap, but they screwed up some of the things that make the original so good. Like the video, and the girl. In the American vrs she speaks, and therefore she looses so much of the scariness. Ah, I'll stop now. Wish this would be my essay... Could have written a few pages on it. :P

Wow, the sun is peeping through some clouds and creating a great light effect on the houses outside, really pretty. Hm, felt like I was home for a second, don't know why. I hope Isen, Camelia and Lily are having fun. Must admit that I'm getting a bit annoyed with Camelia, I still haven't heard a peep from her.

Think I'll quit for now.
Bye peoples!

Camelia left for Norway on tuesday... haven't heard from her, would probably think she was dead if Lily hadn't told me she got home safe.
She'll be back next Sunday. In the meantime I'll try to get some school-work done, we have production now, and I have a test next week, so the quiet will give me time to study.
We're making a movie, about a boy and his egg... right, and our stupid producer put the first day of shooting to a day I have classes, luckily there's two of us to work the camera, so it won't make that much difference.
I'm really looking forward to the day we rap shooting, I'm more of a fan of the editing process. Not so much damn hassle then, it's more like a big puzzle, trying to fit the pieces together.
I haven't really done much since Camelia left, just taking it easy, and getting some work done. Have even restarted the transcript writing of X2, about time I got that done. It will be posted on my site when I do. ;)
I don't really have to much more to write about, am still looking into possibilities to take a trip home, even though it would involve cutting some classes. Gotta admit I'm a little homesick... It's not that I miss the place, but I miss the people, and my dog.
50 days till xmas vacation... yeah, I know, countdowns are sad. :P

Am just relaxing and enjoying my weekend. Am tired, but at least I got to get a proper night's sleep this week-end. :)

Yesterday Camelia and I had a day on the town, having a look in the shops. It's her birthday tomorrow, so I was actually looking for a card to give her.
We got back at about 1500 and started watching "The 10th Kingdom", I love that show. Anyways, with a couple of breaks and stuff we were finished at about 0000. I didn't think I was going to like it when Lily showed it to me last year, but I got into it pretty quickly. There are just so many great quotes!
"NO! Rare implies dangerously cooked! I when I say rare I mean just let it look at the oven in terror, then bring it out to me!"

OK, byebye then!

We had a great time this weekend. We didn't get to meet the hobbits, since all the tickets had been given out before we got there. But we we're prepared.
We all went to the "Two Towers" talk on Saturday. Saw Dominic Monaghan, Sala Baker, Lawrence Makoare and Brent McIntyre. That was fun, but I didn't feel like the crowd was as lively as last year.
Yesterday evening Camelia and I went to the "Fellowship of the Ring" talk, with Elijah and Sean! They we're great! The crowd was great and they seemed to have lots of fun; singing, joking, getting stuff from fans. Sean's brother, Mackenzie, called him in the middle of the chat, so we got to ask him a few questions as well. Seems like he's voting for Gary Coleman in the election over there... hmmm. But we had loads of fun

Today Lily, he sister and Isen left and went back to Norway. They should be boarding the plane as Im writing this. Sad to see them go. It's been a fun-filled visit.

Camelia booked tickes back home to Norway a sec ago as well. She's got some time off from school coming at the end of the month, 29.10-09.11. So I'll be all alone. *sobs*. Nah, I'll be ok. I'm gonna see if I might have a possibility as well.
Her trip cost 51£!! + about 25£ for the train over to Stanstead, but still! That's pretty damn cheap.
I have to find out how my reading-week is before I can find out about coming home. Seems like we might be having a film project going at time, so then I have to stay in the city.
I'll still be alone while Camelia is on her trip, but we might get thursday and friday evening together in Norway before she has to head back. I doubt I'll get time off, but it's worth a check...

My first day of school tomorrow, gotta admit I'm a bit freaked. But It'll go okay, I'm anxious to get started now as well.
Camelia has her first day at school today, so she's gone for almost the entire day. I'm just relaxing... surfing the net, updating my web-site and so on. Won't leave the house, cos then my money will be spent on crap I don't need.
Lily and Isen will be coming for a visit on Wednesday to Monday, am really looking forward to it. The weekend will mainly be spent in Milton keyes meeting Hobbits, we're gonna have so much fun. :)
Don't really have to much to report, hmmm, maybe I should write some letters to the people back home... ok, catch you on the flip side!

Have been on my feet all day.
Last minute packing, am going to Poland for two weeks tomorrow, with my parents. Camellia and Lily will be moving in here in the meantime to look after my doggie, Ami. Awww, gonna miss him.
I'm tired now, and it's only 5.45 p.m. how sad is that, ah, I guess it's a good thing, then I'll get to sleep tonight. :)
Think I'll stop here, see you in 2 weeks. Unless I manage to find an Internet cafe on my trip. :)
Byeeee!
