Had a short day at school today, seems I could have gone home on Wednesday if I really wanted...

Had to hang out with John for over 30 mins and help him record sound, something he could do perfectly well by himself, but he insisted I should join him. So I had to hold up the mike while he slapped some ham around, 3 mins each time, and chopped at a melon for 5 friggin minutes! I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Spent the next hour in the library surfing the net, then called in for a quick meeting, which took an hour to get started, then I could go. We're having a casting session on Wednesday morning, but other than that I'm done with that for now.

Had a quiet day.

First off, wanna thank the people who helped me with ideas for my pitch! Have something to work with now. :D

Now... to the happyness, it's SERENITY DAY!!!
Am going to see 'Serenity' in a little over an hour... or.. we're leaving in little over an hour. *hyper bouncing*. JC and I are going, have done my best to advertise for the film and series here at the house, and even at school. :D

Have watched 'Firefly' all day. :D

Have a bad feeling I won't like the movie, but I always feel that way before a movie I've really been looking forward to!

Yes, I am a mite hyper right now.

Thought I'd just write a little about my day.

It all went okay, we actually spent most of the day working on Bavhna and Tyrone's piece, while Richard and I just did a runthrough of our thing at the end of the day. So it wasn't too bad.

We're shooting our thing next week, just hope I can hold a straight face. At one point I'm supposed to throw a glass of water at Richard, and he's going to get annoyed. His original line was "What are you doing, this is a expensive suit", but we figured that a guy that want's his uncle dead so he can get rich doesn't really have a suit that nice. So it turned into "What the hell are you doing? That's my favourite top". Which just made me laugh, coz when I hear 'top' I think about those little things girls wear in the summer, though I didn't tell him that, and just asked that it'd be changed to shirt or something like that. Pretty silly little thing actually, but am hoping that it'll get shot next week without too much bother.

 

In other news... got the movie I ordered. "Snatch" double disc DVD, I really like that movie, just so insane, and Brad Pitt does do a good job in it. Looking forward to a quiet break during the weekend where I can watch it, actually haven't seen any of my own DVD's since I arrived. Weird. Don't really find the time for it, should really work with my essay this weekend, next weekend I have to start packing room, so it'll be ready for my trip home.

Whooo!

I'm really tired. Has been a full week off stuff, and I'm not finished yet. Got into school earlier today so I could go online, and since the screening wasn't happening today it suited me great.

On Monday evening we were a little group who went to the cinema and watched "Collateral", it was ok. Really slow in the beginning, but picked up toward the end. Didn't agree with the way the movie was shot in context with what the story was, but did see what they wanted to achieve.

Rest of the time has been spent at school, eating and sleeping. Finished my book yesterday "Golden Fool" by Robin Hobb. Great stuff, am buying the third in the series after school today.

Yesterday we started the production classes. We had to come up with a character that we would play at some point during this semester. Being a little under the influence of "Collateral" I choose to be a contract killer. Also thought it would be fun to do something that wasn't me. A big percentage of the class had characters pretty close up to themselves, but we were a few who jumped off that wagon. Am wondering how it will turn out.

I have the day off tomorrow, will be good. Have put off food so I can sleep in. Hopefully I've been able to fix my laptop my tomorrow evening and can get back on track with some stuff.

You've all probably noticed that I'm using my Journal to post some X-men news as well as my regular posts. This is just to make X-Men website
better. I will consider making a new journal for this later, but right now I can't be bothered.

Sniper470 can be downloaded! It's the short film that Billy Boyd was in. I've just downloaded it, and will watch it after wards.

Quiet day today. Camelia left a 7 a.m. to go to an audition for a school she wants to attend next year. I'm crossing my fingers for her. I really hope she gets in because she really wants it. But I must admit that part of me wants her to get in so I won't be alon next year. Feel kind of selfish.
Ok, I'm hoping she gets the result she wants out of this audition, because that's the most important thing! :)

I've gotten sick. Just a sore throat and cloudy head so far, and that I can live with. It's when my nose gets clogged up it gets really bad, but I'm not gonna worry about that before it happens. Am downing "soothers", some blackcurrant sweets for my throat and drinking tea, so I'm ok. :) No worries.

The guy from my production group called me at least 6 times yesterday. I didn't pick the phone, I was in no mood to talk with him. And if it was important the guy could have sent me a message. If he asks me on Wednesday why I didn't pick up the phone I'll just say that I either lost it or was never in the room when he called, and didn't have money to call him back.

Saw Britney Spears on "V Graham Norton" yesterday, not because I wanted to, but because Camelia just had to see it. Geez, Britney is a total idiot, the more she spoke the more stupid she sounded. I didn't want to say anything, but finally I did, and Camelia got all defensive about it. She tried to attack one of my old heroes, but then I just said: "You can say what you want about them I don't care. That doesn't help the fact that Britney is a moron." I let it drop after that, coz Camelia obviously couldn't see past the "Britney is a great dancer" thing. I just got a little annoyed for some reason... I don't know...

Saw "Matrix: Revolutions" yesterday, that was quite a sucky movie. The only thing I found a little enjoyable was the final fight between Mr. Smith and Neo. I also think that if I hadn't known who Hugo Weaving was I wouldn't have found that such fun either. It's just the way he talks in that movie... it's kind of weird. I think it's kind of sad that this was supposed to be the concluding film, when I was left sitting with a bunch of questions I didn't get answers to. The first movie was onto something but the last two really blew it. I don't really know if i liked this one less than "Reloaded", but it sure as hell wasn't better.
The fact of the matter is that I only went because I had promised Camelia and that I knew that they were going to show "The Return of the King" trailer before the movie. The trailer for "ROTK" broke my heart, I so wanted to run back here and watch all the trailers and look at all the pictures. I've been downloading things without looking at them, so I can know as little as possible before the movie. "Two Towers" got a little ruined for me because of all the spoilers and stuff I saw and read beforehand. I have read the books, but I don't know how it will play out in the movie. So I'm trying to get the same kind of surprised feeling that I got from "FOTR". Am really looking forward to it now, next week we'll hopefully have tickets for the premiere in Leicester Square. :) 32 days to go! ;)

Camelia left for Norway on tuesday... haven't heard from her, would probably think she was dead if Lily hadn't told me she got home safe.
She'll be back next Sunday. In the meantime I'll try to get some school-work done, we have production now, and I have a test next week, so the quiet will give me time to study.
We're making a movie, about a boy and his egg... right, and our stupid producer put the first day of shooting to a day I have classes, luckily there's two of us to work the camera, so it won't make that much difference.
I'm really looking forward to the day we rap shooting, I'm more of a fan of the editing process. Not so much damn hassle then, it's more like a big puzzle, trying to fit the pieces together.
I haven't really done much since Camelia left, just taking it easy, and getting some work done. Have even restarted the transcript writing of X2, about time I got that done. It will be posted on my site when I do. ;)
I don't really have to much more to write about, am still looking into possibilities to take a trip home, even though it would involve cutting some classes. Gotta admit I'm a little homesick... It's not that I miss the place, but I miss the people, and my dog.
50 days till xmas vacation... yeah, I know, countdowns are sad. :P
